No there was a scene in either the 2D cartoon CW or in one of the prequels in which Qui Gon Jinn gives Anakin the lightsaber and he holds it for the first time

The only thing I can think of is a fake vision of child Anakin and Qui-Gon. They're in a swamp and Anakin goes into a cave to face his fear or something.

The only reason to NOT play in third person is if you want extra immersion. Otherwise you're just gimping yourself

The fact he may or may not have had a vision of Qui Gon helping him isnt the same thing as being given a lightsaber by Qui Gon.

Ya sorry you work isnt appreciated but that changes the meaning behind the lightsaber a lot if not called out.

It doesnt need to be covered because we all saw TPM. Qui Gon never gave anakin a lightsaber. This means the only way for Anakin to have a lightsaber in AotC is if he built it himself or Obi-wan gave it to him.

And sense Obi-wan refers to it as "your father's lightsaber" and not "the lightsaber I gave to your father" it shows which one it is most likely.

They love both, I've seen comics from both canons posted. It only appears they like the new stuff over the old stuff because they've already seen most of the old stuff (collectively, obviously not everyone has seen every comic) and the new stuff is, for lack of a better term, new.

As much as they've been called Sup Forumsmbler they don't seem to be any worse than average. Then again I only go there for Star Wars shit and some Sup Forums related tv shows so I don't really know how shit they get.

My experience with them is mainly in their Star Wars main thread in which case everyone there is a bunch of prequel babies who act like the prequels are actually just miss understood and that Filoni is sometype of god. /tg/ Is better in my experience when wanting to discuss Star Wars but when a story time occurs in Sup Forums those threads are pretty good
