Two Betrayals

the covenant

The Silent Cartographer

Either Silent Cartographer for the beach assault, Assault on the Control Room for the snow battles, Halo for the sense of survival, or 343 Guilty Spark for the creepiest, best zombie-style reveal of any game.

I pick 343 above all, in fact. Nothing in any game so far has given me that "oh... shit" feeling like watching Jenkins' helmet feed and then chief getting ready for it.

the one where halo kills aliens and doesnt afraid of anything

This guy gets it. It's basically a better silent cartographer, which is already really good and and mention

>starts off on a Silent Cartographer style Beach assualt, with a big areal battle off to the side, gives you a spartan laser,
>Fuel rod guns out the ass
>Solid typical outdoor pacific northwest style environments with a vehicle focus/indoor forerunner corridor areas as you hunt down brute cheiftans in mini boss battles
>Get back to beach, take part in aforementioned massive areal battle, to this day the series hasn't had anything on this scale
>land, assault another chieftain base with elites as allies
>suddenly fucking flood crash through the ceiling and attack you
>Classic halo tank run ensues
>finally reach a huge fucking canyons where two scarabs drop out of the sky and you fight both at once
>mission ends with the final assault on Truth in the control room where he's about to acviate the array
>even the flood goes "yo shits about to go down let's go take him out" and they help you
>"And so, you must be silenced"

I'm annoyed by Halo 3 babies as much as anyone but that mission is probably the single best video game level that i've ever played.

Yup, one of the best FPS missions ever made. It just has everything and feels so damn epic especially near the end.

10. Enemy Lines
9. The Silent Cartographer
8. Midnight
7. Mombasa Streets
6. Metropolis
5. ONI Alpha Site
4. Pillar of Autumn (Reach)
3. The Ark
2. The Great Journey
1. The Covenant

This

That mission was sex.

>halo 3, odst, and reach won't be on pc with their campaigns intact

Long Night of Solace

Silent Cartographer

I want a Halo 3 remake. Fuck Halo 5.

But MCC is coming to Windows 10 user

First Halo 2 Earth mission.

>Windows 10
But I don't want to downgrade

High Charity

I find it comfy for some reason.

>
>>Windows 10
>But I don't want to downgrade

> he has Windows 11 :^)

Pretty good list, though i'd do Delta Halo or regret in place of PoA

Quarantine Zone

you don't? Come on man, it's THE CURRENT YEAR. Get up to date

H1 - Silent Cartographer > Two Betrayals
H2 - The one in the gas mine whose name I forget > Metropolis & Cairo Station > Delta Halo
H3 - The Covenant, The Ark, Tsavo Highway, Cortana because I loved fighting inside a giant colon
ODST - NMPD HQ, Kikowani Station (The others were fine but I wasn't a huge fan of the color correction in some levels)
Reach - Long Night of Solace, the one where you fly a Falcon around New Alexandria

>Microshit holding games hostage behind the Losedont 10.

I really liked Pillar of Autumn for Reach.

>I'M READY! HOW BOUT YOU?!

Such a great way to leave the franchise.

>Halo CE: Assault on the Control Room
It's just great level design, despite it has some copy paste, it's damn fun to play
>Muh nigga youtube.com/watch?v=UbwLYxYIavo
It's just that with the flood and brutes it gives you that feeling of "I'll finish the fight" plus 6:05 that plays just when the level starts
>Halo 3: The Covenant
Everything this nigga said, it's fan fuel, damn Bungie, man
>Halo Wars: Reactor, I guess
I've never played it but If I'm not wrong at the end of the level plays the cinematic when The Arbiter dies
>Halo 3 ODST: Mombasa Streets
It's JUST youtube.com/watch?v=IgGRKZ1nmt8 the motherfucking atmosphere, nigga
>Halo Reach:The Pillar of Autumn
I don't know, I don't remember the level too well, but I guess it was the vibe that I liked so much
>Halo 4: ew none special, I guess Requiem
Meh, forgettable
>Halo 5
I try everyday to forget this game even exist

Ah for fuck's sake I forgot the Great Journey, that was probably my favourite one of all to be honest.

Yeah it was pretty good. I wish we could've had more character development for Noble Team...

the library definitely, none else competes.
