if you're on 10.6 or 10.7 you need a physical copy of OoT3D.

If you're on 11.0 you're FUCKED

Follow the guide starting at part 4 github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-4-(Getting-the-OTP) but grab the key files from part 3 first. Then you'll be using your rxtools emunand to downgrade so you can get your otp.bin

I used CIAngel to download the game directly from the eShop for free; then used that FBI program to install the CIA. Then used Luma3DS (or whatever the cfw is called) and it lets me play it online.

Download CIAngel, you can download games straight from the eShop with it, right from the 3DS itself. Install them with the FBI tool.

Do the whole thing. Part 1 all the way to Part 5. It's a process that takes a few hours, because the 3DS is slow so NAND dumps (for backups to prevents bricking) they take awhile.

But I did it, and now I can download games straight from the fucking eShop servers and play them. I was hoping to use emulators but they are all slow as shit on the original 3DS, apparently they are good on the New 3DS if you have one though.

If you mean for GBA games then just install them as CIA, don't use an emulator.

You literally just open CIAngel, do a text search of the game, wait for it to download. Open FBI and then install the game. Then play. If it asks for an update, update right there in the home menu. If it asks for a system update, go into the settings and click update. Automatically spoofs the latest version number without actually updating. Shit is magic.
