Playing fighting game online

Smash is not a fighting game OP
pokken is though
>Guy punches you in the face for 5 minutes
>Kick him in shin and run away
>'at least I got the last laugh'
you sound butthurt
You sound like a faggot. Unless you stay and beat him more times than he's beaten you, you haven't actually won.
hope you get assfucked some more you petty bitch
T.scrub
>He doesnt win at least two matches in a row before leaving
Subhuman scum
>Playing a game online
>Destroy someone
>They switch to the most annoying character, sperg out for 5 rounds while taunting and then leave
At this point honestly it's too funny to get mad about.
Watching someone resort to the most basic, braindead methods to win, acting smug about it, and then leaving.
It's why I don't really play online games.
Too many tryhards.
nope. if he was really that good he would have never lost. I learned how to counter his cheap strats therefore I am the better player. he wouldn't have beaten me again anyways since I now know how to win against him.
If that's the mindset that you bring to the table when playing fighting games, you will most likely never get any good.
I want MvC4 or UMvC3 on PC
this
>Beat another player
>Taunt
>Leave after only one match
Get on my level, OP.
>Playing for glory
>Keep getting matched with the same dude, pretty evenly matched
>I pick his main (Ike), since he's a secondary of mine, and he chose Marth
>Completely wreck his shit; good zoning with the sword, smashing him around and getting sweet style points
>I perfectly countered the one attack that he would have landed on me, could feel the salt through the screen
>Kill him with 0% hp; he respawns and commits sudoku immediately
>Tfw perfecting someone/wrecking someone so hard that they just give up
In earlier matches, I could tell he was getting frustrated with fighting me because of how good I was with Sheik; muh superior speed was actually pretty effective against slowpoke Ike.
>Beating someone as their own main even though you almost never play as that character
>Be way better than opponent
>Wreck him until he only has a bit of life left
>Spend the rest of the round building meter so I can finish them off with a super
>They helplessly flail at you as you create a situation for that opening
>They quit in the middle of the super
Is there a better feeling?
Blowing someone's first stock up so hard that they suicide the second is an amazing feeling. Always make sure to taunt when they're on the way out.
Sauce me nigga, I need more cute delinquents.
>unironicalling something cheap
First signs of a scrub
>someone beats me
>they switch to the character I was using
>I clean house
Lmao what? More like he started sandbagging and you got a win.
It's like saying if someone gets 2 out of 3 the person with the 1 win is the tournament winner.
>Capcha
>NO U
Fuck off NSA/google
>Playing a fighter
>Keep winning to the same guy in a set
>Finally lose a match after a whole set of raping him since i've loosen up so much and at this point i'm just doing shit to try it out that i wouldn't normally risk and alot of hard reads.
>He leaves right after.
Cute. I remember that mentality when i was 10. Treating the last match like it was the end all be all. Even though adaption goes both ways and luck does too.
>playing 4 Glory
>absolutely devastate a Cloud's first stock as Robin at 0% and taunt
>Cloud goes berserk and proceeds to do the same thing to me, and managed to take my second stock after
It was so shameful I left immediately after.
Happened to me at least three times as Olimar.
No one fucking expects the Olimar main, and no one knows how to use him, either.
>The feeling when you get to fight a truly strong opponent online in a great connection and feel yourself getting better.
>Take a few games and when you play regular people you wreck their shit
Thank you Valle/Wolfkrone ill never forget those games. Same with you BlackSnake on GGXrd. I felt like i got 50 pound weights off me when i played other people.
>killing a guy consistantly in a match
>he finally kills me in a pretty good fight
>Ha you got me, nice shot
>lol thanks
I like health competition.
"best 2 out of 3" type rules were invented to prevent this sort of faggotry
>He actually mains Olimar
I mean, what's the appeal? Was he your main in Brawl and you're just trying to get the most bang for your buck so you can keep him as your main in Sm4sh? I just don't see another reason why anyone would main him.
I've fought good Olimars. He's a defensive character who pesters with the Pikmin and waits for you to make mistakes. Fighting a good Olimar is a frustrating experience and they know it.
I love the way he plays, user, and I love the Pikmin series. For the record, yes, he's been my main since Brawl, but I really don't give enough of a shit about tier placement to let it dictate who I play as.
Even when Smash 4 was brand new, I was still playing as Meta Knight despite the obvious downgrades he got because he's one of my all-time favorite characters.
How is Dedede right now? I haven't updated since before college started and I just got back home.
He's perfect, as the game clearly states. :^)
Not the same guy but,
I like his move's and I like pikmin.
I haven't played brawl
>Not just playing who you want
>Needing the best character to win
>Not mastering lower tiers and wrecking tryhards with them to prove you aren't just some filthy scrub
Git gud.
>playing fighting game at local tourney
>beat some faggot's ass
>he's so asshurt about my character he doesn't fistbump
>shakes his head, looks away from me and at the ground, audibly sighs
But what if the characters I want to play as all happen to be top tier?
>Tfw main ZZS, Sheik, and Cpt. Falcon
I like variety so I switch between one of nine characters pretty often, WFT, Ike, and Mac are my three secondaries, but I just happened to main two top tier characters and a pretty good tier character.
Then play who you like. Don't go shitting on people who play as certain characters.
Except Sonic mains. They're all shit.
I've had someone unplug his controller and leave mid match. I wasn't even beating him that bad.
I don't think either player is laughing and the opponent just wanted you to stick around until you're satisfied or you gave up
LOL
No, user, I'm not shit
He's kind of right, kiddo.
I'm sure you're not, I just fucking hate Sonic in general.
>find someone who's better than me
>continuously play them and learn from them
>they offer constructive feedback
>beat them the next time we play
Feels good
>that one salty faggot who makes insult tags in Smash Bros and spams them all before rage quitting
>the circlejerking fags saying stuff like "b my frend" "friend me" etc
Why do those people even exist? How do you live with yourself?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I'll skip the "you're entitled to your own opinion" padding and say that SEGA has made some of the world's shittiest games, but Sonic as a whole isn't terrible and hating him the same way people hate the new DmC or the ending of ME3 is unnecessarily biased. I mean, unless you only played 06 and Boom, you have to admit the concept still has some shred of merit, right?
>>that one salty faggot who makes insult tags in Smash Bros and spams them all before rage quitting
Almost every single person who's done this to me had a black Mii.
Yeah this is why I like fighting games.
I only play 2 matches with each person for fighting games.
If I lose both, I take the loss that I got stomped but stop ahead of time.
If I lose one and win one I respect them for tying.
If I win both, they had their chance.
I also take the time to type out "Good game." after every multiplayer vidya out of respect, none of that gg shit.
>playing shootin game
>repeatedly gets killed by guy
>makes it my mission to kill him
>ten seconds left
>finally kill him once
>my score is 3-32
>his score is 38-1
>that 1 hurts more than my 32
Feels good
>Mfw it was a money match
>I also take the time to type out "Good game." after every multiplayer vidya out of respect, none of that gg shit.
it's literally the same shit idiot
>Bad orb is also racist
Borb.
>playing street fighter v
>Capcom now let's you choose a different name than your PSN
>doesn't allow you to send message from in-game
>tfw can no longer send hate-mail/GG's after matches
How does one company fuck up this much?
Which is why taking the extra second to type it out feels better for the other person, if you're just going to type two letters out of habit you might as well take the time to say the whole thing.
>Implying niggers aren't some of the saltiest, most aggressive people in the Smash/FGC
>pick up Blazblue
>play for hours
>never play online because I still can't link combos for shit
I know to people who have it down pat it feels like second nature, but there really should be a better indicator of which moves can flow into which other moves. Half of the time it feels like my character comes to a full stop in what should be the middle of a string of attacks.
Why only two?
Playing long sets is really important in regards to getting gud.
You've just described every single fighting game. Spend more time in practice and read up on tech.
Blazblue is weird as fuck
I casually played Hazama in CS1 only to have basic bnbs not work in CS2. I dropped the game entirely because I never enjoyed it and the 2 people who played went MIA. Some of the shit in BB feels like it has no rhyme or reason to it compared to other fighting games.
Haz is one of the characters that had combos changed pretty much every iteration.
Its odd but i guess too many people whined about J.CCCCC for days on end.
