According to Tom, the developers of Shinovi Versus were the ones that suggested to XSeed/Marvelous that they wanted to make an HD version for PC and so XSeed/Marvelous was on board with it and now its close to happening. I wish I could find the source on where he said this, but its pretty cool this game is making progress.
Its confirmed that Shinovi Versus PC will be 60FPS and support up to 1080p. Beyond that there's still not a whole lot of information but XSeed is making it sound like its coming really soon.

Having non-reworked assets with a game being rendered at a higher resolution internally does not cause a game to be blurry. The blurriness of those images was due to resizing/twitter among other things. At the end of the day though even if it is blurry you can fix that by supersampling. And of course. I don't think anyone expected this port to have higher res assets or anything like that.
But Megadimension Neptunia VII was actually a pretty great game and CH has only been getting better as developers over time. Megadimension and Trillion being some of their stronger works. Also I don't think he's referring to just the Neptunia series. At no point in that article did he make mention of them.

They are literally calling it an 'HD release' when it clearly won't be. And this is what I was talking about blurry textures, you Steambecile. The game was not made for anything other than the tiny resolution the Vita renders at. Same is true with the Disgaea port, notice how the sprites have never been updated since the PS2 versions.
But if these exact same games were to be ported to the PS4 instead, they would be proper remasters at that. "SV HD" is literally just a prettier way to say "port", since the word port carries a lot of negative connotations lately.

HD simply means higher resolution. Nothing more. There have been plenty of games with HD releases that didn't actually change anything when released in the past. For example, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is actually just the game rendered at a higher resolution with a few minor changes. You expect too much.
