I've been thinking about getting into the Atierer series. What's the best place to start? I have a PS3/PS4/PSTV.

have yah tried googling it : ^ )

I'm more interested in Sup Forums's opinion on what's the best game for to start with.

Rorona+ on PS3
then play Totori+ on vita
then Meruru+ on vita

After that play Ayesha+ on vita
Then Escha+ on vita
Wait for Shallie+ sometime next year

Or you can go back to all of those after you try Atelier Sophie coming out on PS4/vita in english June 7th

Sophie is standalone and has nothing to do with arland or dusk

>Rorona+ on PS3

How does Rorona+ on the Vita compare to the PS3 version? My Vita TV is already hooked up and if the difference is negligible then I'd rather avoid digging out my PS3.

Also, Thanks.

Lower resolution and fps like usual
I just suggested the ps3 version since the vita versions are digital only and rarely go on sale, and you can get the ps3 version physically for relatively cheap now

The lower resolution doesn't really...

>$39.99

Holy shit you weren't kidding.

Yeah it sucks and you just missed a sale to get the 3 arland games for 40 dollars
It annoys me that the games are digital only, but KT and Limited Run gaming are working to get physical releases of the vita atelier games, so if you do end up liking atelier i'd recommend following them on twitter/facebook to try and get physical copies of the plus games if you're interested

Atelier Rorona + came up in the steamdatabase. They will most likely release them on PC. Pirate them.
>digital only on Vita
>40 bucks if not on sale
>expensive memory cards on Vita
I like my Vita, but fuck off Gust.

Dusk series crafting are fucking fun. Arland not so much

>and you just missed a sale to get the 3 arland games for 40 dollars

Yeah, probably that Golden Week sale, right?

God damn it.

>KT and Limited Run gaming are working to get physical releases of the vita atelier games, so if you do end up liking atelier i'd recommend following them on twitter/facebook to try and get physical copies of the plus games if you're interested

Thanks, I'll do that.

>Atelier Rorona + came up in the steamdatabase.

Oh snap. I think I'll hold out for this then. Probably won't pirate 'em as long as they're not 40 god damn bucks, but we'll see.

How's the English voice acting? Persona/Tales level?

I can honestly say that none of the crafting ever really made any sense to me
I just threw random shit together and hoped for the best

I'm sensing a midriff theme here.

All that meat is clogging up your brain.

it hasn't shown up on steam
someone started a shitposting thread yesterday claiming it was, but it wasn't
that user is either shitposting or took the thread at face value

Ayesha was the only crafting system i didn't get that well, but I didn't play it for very long.

well, in Dusk series u have a lot more to do.
manipulating element and alchemy skills are funnnnnnnnn

>have to double-check everything I read here
So s-sorry.

Sunavabitch

lmao, sure
