Now that's what I call ironic.
Overwatch
TF 2
Battlefield
Call of Duty
CS:S
autism
Why is this faggot so mad about CSGO? Is he a silver that can't reach higher ranks after thousand of hours so it must be the "tickrate" "hitbox" "lag" "rng spread"?
Okay, I'll give you Overwatch (and CS:S + 1.6 which are the same game just with more anti-skill mechanics). But the other games have vastly higher skill ceilings than CSGO.
COD and skill ceiling? You should give me that point too.
A combination of that, autism, and
>le watch the world burn
Underage sensibility
>Console
Call of Duty is available on PC without Auto-Aim user. Give it a try.
>Same webms
>Everytime
I thought csgo players were autistic
But you're taking this to a whole new level
>mandatory auto aim
Autist detected
Then name a single reason why you aren't earning tens of thousands of dollars as a pro player and laughing your ass off swimming in cash?
Nah, not only does CoD have a higher skill ceiling but it also has more strategical depth than CS. It's kind of sad because that's all CS is, a team strategy game- and probably the most shallow one at that.
The same reason you can't consistently win slot machine tournaments. The skill cap is too low. The RNG takes over player actions.
What the fuck is your post even trying to convey?
I'm fine with CSGO being a casual fun low skill game, but it's a little annoying that everyone who plays it thinks they're playing the most hardcore game out there.
Quake
Unreal
Overwatch
Battlefield
Medal of Honor
Doom
Tf2
Half life
But some people can win consistently? How do you explain that?
Why is there even on the highest rank global elite still a noticeable difference in individual skill and winrate?
and yet lots of people still manage to do it?
:)
>le csgo takes skill maimai
>le don't talk shit about my gaem i'm a vidyo game god!!
>putting your largest bait on the first line
cumon step it up, no one is going to read past Quake
Is it a bitter /csgog/'er posting this thread all the time?
How many skins did you lose, my man?
Overwatch?
This is literally how John Romero used to behave while playing Doom
Mostly because they coordinate well as a team. But also because of pic related.
Quake is old and simple, very little skill involved.
CS:GO has the worst bullet spread mechanics I've ever seen in any video game.
People consistently win slot machine tournaments?
I need to hang out with these lucky individuals.
>CS:S + 1.6 which are the same game
born in 1999 general?
this one is the worst fo all
this one clearly is terrible spraycontrol
My jimmies just got rustled
That's what the fucking game is ABOUT you colossal retards.
It isn't a game where being the best shooter will get you to the top. It's about teamwork, coordination, strategy and tactics. But Sup Forums, being the drooling morons that they are, shits on it for being "Low skill ceiling". Nigga, that's exactly the fucking point, for shooting to be easy and for the skill to come from teamplay. But no, I guess the top players in the world are just best at RNG, amirite?
He's right though. The main skill involved is counting down timers for pickups
I agree.
CS is the pinnacle of competitive esports
So it has a skill ceiling that allows for outplay with team tactics and strategy? You're arguing against yourself there, mate.
I'm not even talking about "Pro's" just normal individual matchmaking players that shine without their team. You can even watch pro's owning GE's alone without their tournament team. Going for the "they're all cheating" generalization isn't an explanation.
>death battles between International SWAT teams vs International Terrorist groups mixed together
>They use skins for their weapons
I'm the only one who finds this stupid and literally out of the game?
destiny or the new battlefront. ez
Because hacks are for sexually frustrated euros.
You know this kind of shit never actually happens to me and I've clocked over a thousand hours no. I'm starting to think all these videos are doctored or set up somehow.
Exactly. It's a low skill ceiling strategy game. Most strategy games are. Glad you finally understand.
anyone who started with an fps that isn't an arena fps never had to learn to git gud except for aiming.
Why are there more hackers now then there were back in 1.6?
>I guess the top players in the world are just best at RNG, amirite?
Now you're getting it
can someone explain this webm, why is he missing?
No.
It's still got a low skill ceiling.
In fact, just about every other team game (save for Overwatch & maybe PvZ: GW) has a higher skill ceiling while maintaining that teamwork/strategy requirement while simultaneously having much more strategical depth.
More players.
It's because CS is a bad shooter. It's missing because of RNG, despite that player being dead accurate at close range.
The "upset" over this is a full circle.
Once upon a time FPSes were hitscan weaponry in the majority, or fired reliably. This reflected a culture of twitch-shooting and fast paced play, over realism.
CS was a FPS built upon more realistic mechanics even at its initial mod stage: spray, realistic guns that work in a realistic fashion (fuck you, I'm not saying its real life, but it was more realistic than a rail gun)
mainstream preference over the next two decades was for realism, and subsequent iterations of FPSes have had ironsight shooting, random gunspray, etc.
Getting mad that your gun wont shoot where you point it is coming back is asking to abandon realism in preference for skilled play. That's fine, but its not currently a majority view. Maybe things will swing away from realism, or it'll go somewhere in a different direction. The truth of the matter is I am just writing all this because I'm going to get a six, and I want you to witness it.
> Strategy
> Low skill ceiling
You fucking WHAT mate
If this is the case then there is literally no reason for you not to be at the top of the majors raking in tens of thousands of dollars. The shooting has a low skill ceiling because it emphasises strategy.
So... you're saying that the best players in the world just get lucky? So lucky they win tens of thousands of dollars for doing it?
why are we even comparing tacticool to arena? we all know which one is harder and takes more skill. cs is too slow you can't even 1v1 properly in it
it sounds like you guys don't like csgo that much
At least Overwatch players realize it's the most casual shooter out there.
The accuracy of the gun is somewhat random, so it doesn't matter how skilled you are there is still the chance you will miss
No clue why my post was deleted. Anyway, how is it RNG-based?
Can you explain the gif? All I see is a guy missing his shot.
>If this is the case then there is literally no reason for you not to be at the top of the majors raking in tens of thousands of dollars
If that is the case, then there is literally no reason for you not to win the lottery. You don't even have to do anything, just buy a ticket. The skill ceiling is low, brother. It's yours for the taking.
>rng
Pro tip: there is no such thing as a random number when it comes to computers
>So lucky they win tens of thousands of dollars for doing it?
No one else really wants to do it.
Look at the webm and others posted in the thread. Despite the crosshair being directly on someones head and standing still, they missed multiple times. He should of hit, but due to RNG bullet spread, he missed. There is an element of luck because you can make all the right moves but still miss due to things out of your control.
Shut up. Everyone knows that, and everyone accepts the term RNG because it's close enough to random to work the same way in vidya. You're just being pedantic.
>B-but hes spraying like a retard! xD
>B-but he moved while shooting! xD
>B-but you're just a silver shitter! xD
what am i missing?
Sorry user. I found that 6 you dropped
...
Whoever is playing is literally terrible, why would you use this webm to make a point?
csgo is good game
But it's not random. If you got good at the game you can know where your shots will land.
I think his point is that the gunplay mechanics are terrible, which is true. But you're right that the player is bad as well. He could be at least trying to compensate for the recoil.
Please stop posting this shit in threads about terrible netcode. The game has god awful netcode, and the video you just posted is of a god awful player.
If you go in CSGO shoot the same gun 3 times in a row, the bullets will not exactly line up every time. Similarly, sure, but there is still an element of randomness that the player cannot alter.
All shots can be predicted because the randomness isn't truly random, it's based on math.
The hit would've registered client-side but not server-side. It's a well known problem with the online multiplayer. A lot of people seem to think it's the tick rate of the valve servers' fault but I think it's probably more than that because I've seen better hit reg from games with worse tick rates.
>le bad RNG = low skill
You're either "trolling" or straight up dont understand how spray patterns in CS work.
If you can understand a spray pattern then you've conquered the RNG
You're just a mad silverfag that's upset it's got a higher skill ceiling than 1.6 or CoD. There's nos such thingas RNG which you'd know if you would just git gud. Of course you're not going to hit if you move when you shoot and don't even aim at the hit boxes, I bet you don't even crouch. Adjust your settings and learn to aim at the feet and learn the fucking spray patterns faggot Because there is no random spread. The game wasn't made to be realistic anyway.
It's not RNG, it's bad spray control. The bullets tend off in a certain direction with sustained fire, you can control the bullets to more or less hit a target at long distance while spraying if you know when and where to pull. The guy in the video barely pulls down at all and wonders why a gun with some of the worst recoil in the game isn't firing where his crosshair is pointed.
youtube.com
Even the first shot is rng.
>everything is rng, espacially accuracy
>Player actions dont mean anything
>it's mainly a strategy game, not a shooter
this thread is cancer
Except the spray patterns are not 100% identical every time. Learning the spray pattern helps reduce the effect of RNG but it is still there
>cs:go takes skill
The RNG is mathematical, you can predict where the shots will land if you know the variables. This is part of understanding the spray pattern.
>removes the fundamental aspects that made the original game unique and interesting
>people defend this
Top tier trolling bro! Keep it up!
I give you the first shot but the rest he was snot aiming to the head
>I'm only pretending to be retarded
>The truth is cancer
Well memed my friend
>same fucking webms every time
Someone post that shotgun webm and we've got a royal flush here.
The Pistol in TF2 has pretty bad accuracy. At any distance other than point-blank, you'll be lucky if 4-5 shots hit when you unload your 12 shot clip into somebody.
>global elite
nobody gives a shit about valve mm, if you want to play counter strike you have to play on ESEA/CEVO/anything but valve MM or faceit.
this is the reason i never really got into csgo. I have like 150 hours played, mostly just surfing. It's absolutely fucking terrible how they fucked up a simple formula.
CS was never good hitreg-wise but at least you could compensate in 1.6 by learning in which situations the game fucks you up. In css it got worse and in csgo it's just a clusterfuck. It's so inconsistently bad, it's not even funny. It's a game of russian rullet. When will you shoot blank? You never know it until it's too late.
>inb4 git gud
The game does not reward you for getting good. It keeps stabbing you in the back. I've had my fun in 1.6 and css, csgo just doesn't work for me.
I'm taking a 4th semester computer science final today. I know what I'm talking about.
I don't play CS. Most people are saying this guy just sucks. But to me, it looks like he's aiming right at the person.
Where should he have aimed to hit him? I don't get it.
Hahahaha
recoil
Yes, if you know their RNG formulae you could predict it if it's reasonable for humans to do. But I doubt they have that public.
because he was moving while shooting, that fucked up his recoil
It's been over twenty years Alanis, if you don't know what irony is by now I don't think there's any helping you. Daft canuck cunt.
who knows. he probably thinks he's an EPIC troll.
