What are some games I can beat without pressing A?
What are some games I can beat without pressing A?
Mario 64 only requires half-a presses
Any game on Playstation.
Does a half a press count?
Phoenix Wright series
...
any japanese game, you just have to press next
Most games on pc
/thread
...
YOU CAN'T SAY ITS HALF
What key do you use to move left?
Provided it allows you to rebind keys, but it's probably a shit game if it doesn't.
left arrow key
Any game on Playstation x2
kirby air ride
Fine, A or its equivalent, in this case X on Playstation.
The thing is that's actually true.
pannenkoek2012's interpretation is that the action of pressing down and releasing is a full press.
The actual definition computers use for inputs is a PRESS state and a RELEASE state.
You can't have half a press state, it defies the binary inputs for digital buttons.
>this is what """"""""""Henry"""""""""" fags actually believe
...
The OUYA?
You use the O to do most thing so there you have it.
Was there any point on this pointless and shitty thread by the way?
This, Henry is objectively right, it's pannekoek who named his action in a retarded way.
And he beats certain levels by pressing the button before entering the level and holding it through until he gets the release.
Thus, he beat that one level with 0.5 A presses.
>He thinks X is PS's A
Katamari
No, as far as the game is concerned he enters the level with the A button in a pressed state.
He completes the level by only releasing this pressed state once.
Most mainline Pokemon. Go into settings and map the L button to function as A. This also allows you to play one handed.
It has been the de facto equivalent to A since the PS1.
Just admit you wanted to create a shitty mario 64 meme thread.
Your joke backfired on you and you're just an idiot.
Infinite Space
Ghost Trick
A large portion of the DS library
So? You say "The actual definition computers use for inputs is a PRESS state and a RELEASE state." but that's not the case for Mario64. The game has different actions for pressing A, holding A and releasign A. So his definition makes sense. If you put half of the button press, the actual pressing down, before the level, you beat that level in 0.5 presses.
>A is confirm
>X is cancel
Tetris
>Charzoid
My mom literally only knows Pikachu and Kakuna, and the latter only because it sounded funny to her.
Goldeneye and Perfect Dark should be possible. You can change weapons in the start menu and select them with Z.
fifa
passing the ball is for fucking plebs just run and score every time
Only in america you fag, in japan is the round wicha actually makes more sense.
>Your joke backfired
Did it, though? I'm seeing a pretty good amount of memery.
all the games you beat with pressing A, just remap A to B
Probably samefagging.
But some games make Triangle the cancel button, and some jap only games use X for yes
button placement also isn't new either I mean look at nintendo
Then you look at the colors of X and O then it makes less sense
Xbox has the most sensible button design in that regard.
Green is go everywhere in the world.
