I have been trying to get back into the series on my PSTV but I for some reason it just isnt resonating as well as it did with me as when I played it back on the psp.
DON DONDON DONDON
But seriously though, I loved this game so much a musician who plays visual. PS vita release when?
DON DON DON CHAKA
You can get all three on it and the PSTV already.
FEEEEEEEVER
PON PATA PON PATA!
PATA PON DON CHAKA
I had a classmate back then that would play this but would turn down the volume so his psp wouldn't be fucking noisy and his batteries wouldn't die so fast
so he sings the chants instead.
>when you kill a boss but it only drops hinoki
PSP was the best handheld of all time solely due to this series.
I loved the first two but couldn't bring myself to finish the last one. A shame that the series is kill though.
QUICK! WHAT'S THE RUNAWAY CHANT?
BO BO BOOO
The last one was certainly different.
It was fun in a different kind of way...
It had online for the longest time but I think that was shut off recently.
Why must you remind me when I was just starting to forget
>Best song went unused
...
best mini game was the forging one
YOOOO
THe PSP had this and Loco Roco, what was with SIE Japans hard on for games with heavy emphasis on music and minimalist graphics?
Back in the time, the PSP looked slick as fuck.
>Personification of lust
>Says she'll strap you down and squeeze you until you squeal
>Says "Oooh, I'm so excitied~" or "Ahh, so hot~" when you beat her
>Wags her hips around
>Rubs up against a giant pole
>Eventually starts thrusting her hands towards her vagina while her sidekick points out how wrong this is
>MC's romantic interest
>0 even decent porn.
This is not OK.
you know I saw my step-uncle at one point playing one of these games are they any good they kind of?
>tfw your cousin is shit at this game because the concept of keeping a beat is too hard for them
>implying the game knew what a correct beat was
>implying the arena beats in 3 aren't a full fucking second out of rhythm
THe only time I have trouble keeping the beat is the set immediately after getting fever, have to chant along during it or I will almost always fuck it up.
your cousin sound like an idiot you know I was able to get this stuff down when I was on a long time ago but not the patapon games just steal some of the Rhythm games I was able to do it as a kid he just needs to step up
Surprisingly addictive because of the rhythm aspect. 3 kinda gives up the whole army aspect for a smaller band of units which loses some of the appeal, but it's hard not to feel an attachment to the little guys.
It's my favorite non arcade series of rhythm games.
>tfw I actually had a PSP and played this game nearly nonstop
I miss the simpler times.
What went so wrong with Patapon 2 and 3?
How can I replay the first one a bazillion times but can't stand the sequels?
i think 2 was ok, needed a bit more variety if anything
3 need a army or heroes option
but thats just my >opinions
patapon 4 when? :'(
fuck you
Patapon 2 pretty much improved on any issues with the first so I don't know what you're problem is with it. Though it did introduce the heropon so there's that.
Patapon 3 is kind of it's own thing. Instead of commanding a squad of 20ish Patapon, you have 4. A Bow user, a sword+shield user, a spear user, and the uber heropon. So the game is less swarm mentality and more sheer stats.
I still liked it.
