It's only $5 on psn, is it any good?

it's only $5 on psn, is it any good?

or should I just buy The Wolf Among Us which is also $5 for that easy platinum

TWAU if you like story games

I wasn't overly big on Rogue Legacy.

it's basically a movie

Rogue legacy is great if you like indie pixel games with awesome controls and difficulty.

Which I do.

So I say, go for Rogue Legacy instead of tellTale Shit that just reskins of eachother.

It's a decent transition-game.
You know, those games you only play when you've burnt out the main course for the month.

It's shit. It's one of those indie titles where you're forced to die over and over again with your early characters in order to buy and build upgrades for you later characters to progress through

Game is great, but it has some issues with grinding. Still enjoyed the hell out of it

>with awesome controls

What the hell are you on about. It handles like a greased pig.

>rogue-lite :^)

>platinum
why don't you just buy hannah montana and aabs animals you pathetic loser. no one cares about achievements, much less piss easy ones

I had 52 plats before quitting

It's fun for a short while, but, overall, a mediocre metroidvania with too much rng and grind.

so it's a metroidvania? I think I'll buy it

It's shit.
It's platformer with radomly generated levels. So it's shit as platformer.
Also if you are good then you will beat the game in 10 or less tries and skip all these castle-building feature.
And if you are bad then you'll be grinding same monsters for 12+ hours.

Its pretty good.
When you die, instead of losing everything, you get a new character and have the opportunity to spend the gold you collected in order to make the character slightly stronger, or to upgrade or unlock classes, you also lose all your gold every time you enter the castle. The game wants you to do better every time you enter so you can get more gold and afford more expensive upgrades.

>metroidvania
you have no goddamn clue what a metroidvania is if you think rogue legacy is one.

>When you die, instead of losing everything, you get a new character and have the opportunity to spend the gold you collected in order to make the character slightly stronger, or to upgrade or unlock classes, you also lose all your gold every time you enter the castle.
You know it sounds like a fucking mobile runner, right?

He's wrong.
You don't lose all your money, only a pretty big percentage. You can even lower the entry price by buying an upgrade.

You do lose all of it, until you buy that upgrade to lower the amount you lose.

Definitely worth $5. Fun little game

$5 is a fair price
