Ps3 problem

Ey guys i got a problem with my ps3.. So i want to play gta 5 online but it says i dont have enough space to do the update and it lets me play just in single player.. what to do? Its ps3 superslim btw.

It needs double the amount of free space.

i.e. if your PS3 has 50GB leftover space and you wanna install something that is 10GB, you'll need 20GB free space. The PS4 and PS Vita works exactly the same way btw.

And also when it starts updating it says 'error 80710736'.. i think thats for internet connection but not exactly sure

just delete stuff on your hard drive, delete games or patches. if you check you might have shit loads of space taken up by patches or games installed for games you dont even have anymore.

check that you deleted the patches too, go into the game on the xmb and look for the game data save thing, you might have GB's of patches still on your ps3.
make sure you don't delete your save games instead, they are in a different section.

Well there's your problem.
It's the easiest thing in the world to do.
You can even take backup of whatever you have on it with an external HDD. Just make sure you have one with external power and not just usb-powered.

Either make some space on HDD by removing game data (install data not the saves). Either change HDD, look up for tutorials online if you are too retarded to unscrew one screw on the side. I suggest upgrading HDD if you are going to play lot of games 250Gb being a good size for the PS3.

You should probably have an HDD you aren't using around in your house. Otherwise it's like 40 bucks for 500Gb.

Depending of how much you play video games you might want to consider a PS4 or Xbone(Xbone is cheaper and has a better online deal) because at this point the PS3 is really getting obsolete.

Also if you have a 1080p TV the graphical leap is quite significant. If you have the money I'd say go for it.

how big is the ps3 HDD? you must have plenty of stuff you can delete, just delete installed games
