I just think reach is the overall best because of the whole game in general.
The story focuses on the human-covenant war, which is the best parts of the halo universe.
No silly forrunner magic with space zombies
Just straight up human survival.
Then I loved forge world and all the community stuff made with it.
And while the multiplayer wasn't as great as say 3 or 2 I still enjoyed it a lot and all the custom game types
