does any one know of any way to revert a NG+ character to NG?
i'm a dark souls 3 babby but i decided to play the first one because i liked 3 so much, and decided to link the flame after killing gwyn, thinking that i would have a choice to continue in NG or begin NG+, much like the option they give you in dark souls 3

thing is, i forgot to do artorias of the abyss before finishing the game and now i'm back in the undead asylum and i'll be fucking 6 feet in the ground before i go through all the first area bullshit, so does anyone know of anything, any kind of cheat-engine or some bullshit to make it so that i can go back to NG?

what weapon are you using and have you upgraded it? whatever the case, buff your weapon with gold pine resin as she's weak against that shit

I've got the sword and shield from the skeleton dragon and a +4 Scimitar. With the red armour up top.

you can buy some gold pine resin from the undead merchant (the one in the pipeline leading from firelink shrine to undead burg, guarded by a bunch of hollows) if you're up for making the trip, or you can just bide your time and hack at her spider's legs

only real thing to be careful about once you're at her legs is when kellogg is charging up her sword at which point you dash back, otherwise the spider is just going to be vomiting lava around the stadium and jumping around

Don't forget the "I pretend to do nothing but I'm about to blow up for 95% of your HP" attack.

Love souls games but the hardest game for me was mass effect 3 on the hardest difficulty. Souls games have been fairly easy for me.

You can probably roll it if you time it right, but it's best to just run away.

I really don't want to turn on my ps3 but I'm around level 28 thief with mostly Dex and a bit of faith.
I know all her moves and have the black spirit chick help and still cant beat her. I think I'll go back even though I hate back tracking especially going back up.

you should probably consider being at about soul level 35-40 before killing quelaag, especially since you've already beaten gaping dragon, correct?

and while i hate to give general advice, you really should invest some points every 10 soul levels into vigor and endurance, since those are the bread and butter of any melee build

I've beaten Artorias on NG+4 without dying once and I'm not even dat gud.

The second I had enough souls to buy one the guys at the shine left.

i helped a friend of mine with all the bosses beforehand so i had stockpiled a few souls, did drake and josh at soul level 53

still, better safe than sorry and if he's at this kind of roadblock he's better off grinding
you could just help other people with bosses
souls + sunlight medals which would help you get the great lightning spear (which i assume you're aiming towards if you're putting points into faith)
