Fucking Infinite Warfare.
"We're going to have dogfights in space!"
What's next? Steal the slipspace rupture from Halo and travel to other planets and fight aliens?
Call of Duty: Intergalactic Warfare
Fucking Infinite Warfare.
"We're going to have dogfights in space!"
What's next? Steal the slipspace rupture from Halo and travel to other planets and fight aliens?
Call of Duty: Intergalactic Warfare
>"waaahhh! I'm tired of WW2! Make me a futuristic shooter!"
>"waaahhh! I'm tired of futuristic shooters! Give me WW2 shooters again!"
Yeah, fuck off.
who cares? people will still buy it in droves, they disliked the trailer only because they jumped on the bandwagon and wanted to see how far they could take it
all the normies will still buy it and play it
Call of Duty : Punic Warfare
We going way back muhfuqqa
>dogfights in space is somehow a Halo exclusive concept
>implying fighting aliens in a new extinction mode wouldn't be cool
It's almost like people are sick of certain shooters when the market has been recently saturated by them, and miss them when there has barely been any. Fucking logic.
Nobody said that. The devs tend to think futuristic games are best anyways. I would've loved it if they would've stayed with the WW2 theme like in previous games so your argument is invalid
Pick one and fuck off.
>Halo invented FTL excuses in sci-fi
>nobody said that
You don't remember the console shooter fanbase before the first modern warfare?
>dogfights
Warring in space has long since been compared to naval battles.
>What's next? Steal the slipspace rupture from Halo and travel to other planets and fight aliens?
hopefully you shitbirds quit buying these games so they can die and force developers to make them worthwhile again instead of yearly turds.
And?
I'm talking about here, in this thread.
Would you put a plane in water?
Ok then. But that still doesn't change the fact that shitheads like OP can't make up their mind on what they want.
Look how quickly the fanatics come to back up CoD
#RIPCoD
>science fiction has to be realistic
It's called fiction for a reason
I would fucking buy it
hopefully
I'm actually OP. I've been replying to your dumbass for the past ten minutes
How do you know OP ever wanted a futuristic shooter? Idiot.
>implying there's nothing wrong with that viewpoint
>not understanding how flooding a market with a certain product can cause people to seek alternatives
I'll honestly probably get CoD over BF1. I like future stuff, I don't like such a far past setting that 1 has for shooters.
don't people use jets to bomb ships?
I didn't say that
Oh wow look at you with your original thoughts. You sure as fuck aren't using the same talking points to bash COD that everyone else is on the internet. Its currently popular to hate COD because its going to space. It used to be popular to hate COD because it was the same game every single year. So what is it, are you a fan of the old CODs who genuinely wants more of the same? Or are you just a faggot sheep who will hop on any bandwagon the internet pushes? I'm willing to bet you are the latter since you posted the an image of a childish ''war'' between Battlefield and COD, which is as pathetic as console wars. I'd prefer it if people like you killed themselves.
They don't put them in water. Point being it just sounds retarded to the people who actually gave a shit about the topic at hand. Dogfights between two cruisers is stupid.
>plane's don't work in space, just like they don't work in water, therefore science FICTION planes shouldn't work in space
If small spaceships can fly fast like planes, why wouldn't there be dogfights?
I get why people are shitting on CoD, because the franchise certainly deserves it, but why all the praise for Battlefield 1? The trailer was terrible, it only showed like 2 seconds of gameplay, and DICE haven't made a good game in over a decade. It's going to be shit.
I think i'll just buy a good game instead of BF1 or IW.
OP seems pretty unhappy with futuristic concepts
Oh wow look at you with your original thoughts. You sure as fuck aren't using the same talking points to bash COD Infinite Warfare critics on the internet. Its currently popular to hate COD because its going to space. It used to be popular to hate COD because it was the same game every year, and now it's going to be the "same game" just in the future. So what is it, are you a fan of the old CODs who genuinely wants better gameplay and a return to the old days? Or are you just a faggot sheep who will hop on any bandwagon the majority of COD freaks push? I'm willing to bet you are a sheep because you posted a paragraph whining about how much you love to have Call Of Duty's big, long, corporate dick shoved up your ass. I'd prefer it if people like you killed themselves.
The trailer was great, you must be a huge faggot to not be excited about a WW1 shooter with battlefield gameplay and graphics.
Besides being a Halo fan, totally.
No user, you're the faggot for being excited for anything with modern Battlefield gameplay.
Have a contrarian internet point, you miserable cunt.
>not the point.
Planes don't work in water. Majority of space warfare is compared to naval warfare. Do you see battleships flying around?
Worldwide? This been like since the first COD in 03, COD has never had a break and the series has always been linear scripted cinematic piece of shit. When that garbage became popular in 2007, that shit began ruining gaming. I hope Doom 2016 popularity fixes what this shit series broke.
There's no such thing as space warfare so that's retarded. If there was, spacecrafts that can dogfight would surely be invented.
It's not about the fact that there's no such thing, I'm only saying that it's retarded because the majority is mostly based on naval combat. You fucking moron
>majority of space warfare is compared to naval warfare
You keep making this claim but I have yet to see a single source to back this up.
Besides, why does every single rule/idea in space warfare have to bind to the rule of naval warfare simply because it is compared to it?
What majority are you talking about? The majority of something that doesn't exist? Fuck off you fucking retard.
Think of Halo, starships in general, Battlestar Galactica Battleships, the Mass Effect Turain Cruiser and other various SHIPS. Not planes. Also think of spaceships in the real world.
So the space equivalent of planes can't exist just because ships do? Nice logic dumbass.
Do they say spaceplanes and starplanes? I beg to differ. The majority is there and you are either dense or you just don't bother to look anything up. Almost every famous sci fi/ space video game or movie has the adopted theme of coining naval warfare.
You're manipulating my words again. I didn't say that it couldn't exist, I said it was stupid that he would use the term dogfight. I swear you CoD fanatics get more desperate as time goes on.
>I didn't say it couldn't exist
>same guy who said space warfare shouldn't work/exist because "hurr a plane won't fly in water and a ship won't fly in the air"
Also, dogfight is a widely used term for combat between any kind of flying craft. Fuck off retard
what's next is a Halo crossover
Planes aren't in space, that's why we have spaceships. Dogfights are generally in the atmosphere and are against, you guessed it, planes. Did I even say that it wouldn't work or exist? No. Why do amoebas like you exist
i knew most of the internet is now younger than me when i saw a majority of people wanting WW2 shooters
>"We're going to have dogfights in space!"
you mean Halo, user.
Read the next line bb
I'm 26 and I've been through the WW2 market saturation period. I still want one. Because it has been many fucking years since then.
the joke is Halo franchise is shit
>26 years old
>still spends any time whatsoever on a mongolian claymation imageboard where the average user is a decade younger than him
>thinks it's possible to leave this place
So young and naive.
That's Hilarious
Not as bad as where Call Of Duty is headed.
Trigger Warning
What's wrong with it? Space is cool.
So are firearms but COD still ruins them.
CoD has been pulling the futuristic angle for the past 2 games, what reason is there to believe Infinite Warfare will be any different?
They're going to throw in a few gimmicks like the exosuit and double jump bullshit in Advanced Warfare, but the gameplay will remain fundamentally unchanged
This isn't necessarily a bad thing for people who like CoD, but it's unlikely they're going to change their formula to any meaningful degree
Most of the gun selection will likely be of futuristic-looking guns which are functionally the same as their modern counterparts
>What's wrong with it? Space is cool.
space was cool till fucktards decide to JUST make shitty space games, the only games i see with space that are still "Cool" is dead space BLSTPS and i guess xenoverse
For cruisers, sure. But not for fighters. That's a totally different concept.
>futuristic-looking guns which are functionally the same as their modern counterparts
Can't be as bad as Halo's WW2-tier 26th century guns.
Do you even know what a cruiser is?
Yes because the entire gaming industry has survived because they 'picked one'
My point. If they decide to call their spacecrafts something along the lines of fighters then my bad, but from the looks of those sarcophagus looking fucks I saw in the trailer floating around in the sky it looks like they might be called spaceships.
Wait, are you telling me that CoD will have Multiplayer In-Space ship battles, or is it just single player?
'cause if it's multiplayer I might get it, I love to fly things.
MW3 started the futuristic gameplay with WW3. BO2 began the actual jump technology wise with active camouflage, robots, improvised drones, etc. Advanced Warfare added Exosuits and an even more futuristic feel, and a shitty zombies mode. Black Ops 3 was like a discount Advanced Warfare. And now people are saying IW going to be shit because we were hating the futuristic qualities of the previous games already. Keep in mind they also are a franchise making games almost every year, so the devs were working on these games three years prior to the other titles, so they didn't even know if we were going to like it or not anyways.
I called it years ago.
With every new CoD, it gets closer to Halo.
With every new Halo, it gets closer to CoD.
I estimate we're only one or two games away from the intersect point where they release Call of Halo, followed by the ritual suicide of all 343 and Activision employees.
why not just play Star Conflict
We all knew it was coming, Destiny was like the failed abortion of the two.
