Still have to get to it. Started a new game in survival, made it up to level 14 before giving up on it. I finally manage to take down a room full of enemies, only to have my companion step on a mine and kill me. Fuck it, I'll just play on Hard

I traded it in with some gift cards to get steam wallet funds

I really wanted to enjoy the game, but it's awful and not fun to me, sorry.

Seems like a dumbed version of Skyrim with guns.

I reinstalled it a couple of days ago now that the creation kit is out.
I've been playing survival mode and its a pain in the ass.

Getting real sick of this shit.

It's too hard. Yeah yeah, call me a casual, but damage is unbalanced. Molotov hits nearby, you die, enemy decides to melee you, you die in 2 hits, radscorpion decides to dig out next to you, hits you instantly for half your health. Attack dog/mutant dog attacks you, get locked in a insta kill animation. Man fuck this.

The random named encounters and the "collect cans to make a plasma rifle" gameplay were shit.

I dont mind difficulty but emptying thousands of rounds of ammunition into a unique ghoul that cant reach you on top of a building for 25 minutes is stupid.

Oh and the story.

As always the random encounters and side quests were fine, but the main story was shit. Keep it simple stupid, find a water chip or geck or platinum chip.

Is far harbor even worth a pirate?

Haven't tried it yet, still trying to get back into the game.

But seriously.

It's 3 towns with the same structure, go to the town, get a main quest and ~5 side quests. Then go to the next town and repeat until you do all 3 and then you get to choose which ones to blow up or not blow up.

Also the NPC's keep wanting to give me caps as if I give a single shit about caps. There is nothing caps can get me that I can't get otherwise.

The island is cool but it's just so eh.

Glad I didn't pay for it.

yeah if you want more to do in fallout then it's totally worth a pirate.

You know what it isn't worth? 25 fucking dollars.

Far Harbor is great by the way, what Fallout 4 should have been. I'm replaying it because I wanted to do the story a bit differently.

It's $25 for like 5 hours of content. I did all the fucking sidequests and I would feel completely ripped off if I didn't pirate it.

Paying a price on top of full just to get a normal experience is fucking ludicrous

Okay that's just not fucking true, if you did all the side quests you've got easily 15 hours of content in far harbor.

How exactly do you dumb a game down further than Skyrim?

Anyone else ignoring all of the dlcs and waiting for some mods that fix the game?

I pre-ordered it and there isn't a single day that I don't regret it.

I tried hard to enjoy it but the lack of gun variety and a bunch of other little problems made this shit unplayable to me.

I didn't find the gun variety too bad

I found the lack of quests and borderlands styled loot system to be much worse

We'll find out this E3 when Elder Scrolls VI is announced.

I am wandering the island trying to trigger Longfellow's radio quest while drinking heavily. Oh, and returning to the mainland every other hour to deal with a settlement that is under attack.

How can you play Fallout 4 for that long?

The longest I've played is 5 hours, it's so fucking boring. Play NV, or even 3 ffs
