Is this the best class in vidya history?
>casts spells depending on which cards are in the hand
>can use trap cards and field spells
>one of their skills is literally Pot of Greed
>they all look like cliche shonen protags

>bonus dungeon is called the Shadow Realm.
no!
So is this game just Etrian Odyssey by Sega?
More like made your own rpg with tons of Japanese voices actor. The game itself is easy.
Etrian with 3rd person exploration, actual character models/animations and a proper story. So nothing like Etrianshit thankfully.
It's closer to a standard jrpg than a dungeon crawler like EO.
It's also nowhere near as hard as the average EO game.
>It's like Etrian Odyssey except it's not
>and that shit taste
You seem like someone that enjoyed Bravely Shit. This game is right up your alley in the shit jrpg department
>portraits aren't tied to clases
>made the first male Duelist a Godhand with a deep voice.
Not really. Hell you unlock a class is also an element mage but without the RNG aspect to it, and they have support skills too. They actually go well together because of field cards.
Also this happens a lot more often than you think
>get into a fight with (element) dragon
>start battle with 4 cards of that same element so you waste a turn drawing new ones hoping RNG doesn't fuck you again
I'm warning you know for when you play the game, don't take their lucky roll skill unless you want to trivialize the game even further despite how easy the game already is.
>keep rolling moon
>enemies don't drop shit.
The first game was made by the guy who made EO1 and Trauma Center. Once he left, it became pretty different gameplay-wise and went modern-day with more otaku-pandering, so lots of Miku Miku, emphasis on VO, and net references.
How long ago did the review copy leak, again? I still need to stop being lazy and hack my 3DS.
>Pot of Greed
What? It lets you draw like 4 cards
It's been out for like 2 weeks already. Kinda feel bad for Sega since they took a chance with this series that hardly anyone outside of Japan knows, complete with the original JP dub.
Best class: some shit about cards
is agent good in this one? using all your mp in one turn to attack 30 times in one turn with trickster was fun in 2020.
I see one of these games is coming out soon but also leaked already. Was wondering if any of these games are on the eshop and which ones would you recommend?
>2nd Boss in the Shadow Realm
fuck this game and fuck you shadow realm haze
Yep
Except now they also have hacker skills and an elemental link skill
Bravely Default is repetitive while 7th Dragon is not
Only III: VFD was released in the West. Well, will be released. Its not on eshop yet. So if you want to play any 7th Dragon games you'll probably want to emulate them as they got fan translations. Play 2020 on PPSSPP
I tried using one but I ended up dropping them since I didn't care for the rng reliance for consistent damage. Traps are neat skills though. My current party is samurai/runemaster/banisher. This game is really fucking easy by the way.
Yeah, I'm still planning to buy it, but I'm not going to wait to play it when it's available now.
Anyone know if review copies are starting to leak ahead of time across the board?
