Almost 22 now. I'd had tons of fun with half life, jazz and jack rabbit, tf1, tf2, cs 1.5/1.6/source/mods, civ3, diablo 2, dark souls and most of all tetris.

No other games have since like 10th grade caught my attention for more than (at best) a few hours.
Gaming has died. What's left are remains, the hopes of those that grew up with the aforementioned giants. No innovation has occurred, people are just nostalgic and can't move on.

If i just play when ever i can i get burnt out but if you keep busy and do something that is hard and worthwhile you will get those 5 hour gamming sessions where you just dont want to stop cuz your having so much fun. A couple of things have worked for me:

Smash bros. Melee, it's not even about the game. The game is just the playground you can move your character in, it's more you vs your opponent. Honestly I don't even see competitive games in the same realm as typical videogames because they give a completely different feeling.

Also tabletop rpgs. Dungeons and Dragons etc., if you find a good group and dungeon master it has to potential to make you feel what what you find is missing from games, because you can choose to do whatever you want and the game world adapts to your choices.
