Fuck you brink was fun. Bethesda just sucks.
It was better than tf2 which is basically what it was.
Bethesda sucks for having published the game? They did a great job marketing it.
>better than TF2
Explain the empty servers and a 2 week of broken multiplayer during launch?
The run up to Brink launch was so much fun, those who knew it would be total shit and those who were about find out the hard way.
>It was better than tf2
No it wasn't, retard
I wish this game was still alive. I found it a few years after it had released and the netcode issues had been cleaned up but by that time there wasn't anyone on it. It's a shame, I really enjoy it. I'd be hyped for a Brink 2 but I wouldn't expect that to ever happen. Then again, I didn't think there would be a sequel to homefront.
>It was better than tf2
you shills are getting outta FUCKIN hand
>popularity is an indication of quality
Isn't there some overwatch thread you should be in?
the sequel to homefront is basically brink 2
>It was better than tf2
HERE WE GO
This. I played it a year after release and I never heard of it before.
Had a blast but it went completely dead quickly.
I put 200 hours into JC2 and 10 into JC3.
No fucking shit
overstrike
Twewy countdown
>Better then TF2
>Any class could be customized to look like anything or have any build so you never know what your fighting against
>Not that many classes to start with and they all kinda sucked
>Parkour gimmick sucked
No.
I bought a vive.
Its neat, just not $900 neat.
Just give me a girlfriend simulator to justify my purchase already
MGSV
Holy fuck i'm never getting hyped by anything anymore
This HAS to be bait.
>Twewy countdown
Holy fuck I was so mad. Had to leave Sup Forums, the shitposters made me genuinely upset.
If brink was good people would be playing it.
Photo and timestamp please
yeah, i loved the part where the offline and the online were the exact same campaigns. and that the two factions had almost identical campaigns on the same maps. I also loved how none of the cosmetics were able to differentiate teams or class, not that character class really mattered because all the weapons were functionally the same; that is to say not very effective against more than one enemy. oh and i loved the parkour system that didnt work and the class abilities that didnt work and running a half fucking mile to the front line and the fact that once you killed someone you had to spend another few seconds emptying an additional mag into them so they werent immediately healed by a magic syringe thrown from 15 feet away. and who could forget that riveting plot about... all that stuff. but yeah if you forget that the gameplay and the graphics and the story and maps and the mechanics were unfinished shit, and the fact EA lied their asses off for years to hyping up their shovelware 'franscise' it could be fun for a bit.
yes i am still upset
Not many people remember the ridiculous Molyneux levels of hype that the original Scribblenauts had. Post 217 etc.
You should really wanna start getting into Unity/UE4 and make this shit for yourself. Even if there'd be a good waifu sim, you'll never be satisfied with the models.
You can draw anything! ANYTHING!
Im not at home at the moment
>Brink
>hype
That game always looked like it was going to suck.
I've been torn abut getting JC3
I loved JC2 but JC3's map looks like ass but the new toys/enemy bases look like a hoot
what made it shit for you user?
Not that user but it's basically more of the same with a more unpredictable physics engine which can either be good or bad depending on the type of person you are.
90% of the time it is, retard.
Im from the future and the answer is No Mans Sky
the 3ds version was passable but the wiiu version was bogged down with so much bullshit and left a bad taste in my mouth
>Twewy countdown
what was this?
Razor's edge didn't fix it.
BRINK was the first game I ever per-ordered...
Pic related was the second and last game I ever per-ordered.
Phone port
>tfw poorfag at the time and couldn't preorder
It was supossed to make the FPS great again, not being an awful Kickstarter
So CoD and Destiny are well made? So is Madden and NBA 2k?
>that one frame that gives her shorts a sharp angle as if it were a skirt
I can't gap to this
>thought infinity ward could redeem itself after the shit-show that was mw3
>it was somehow worse
CoD died with BO1.
Better than Brink
Uh huh, move them goalposts
Halo 4
>WAAH THIS GAME I WAS EXCITED FOR TURNED OUT TO BE COMPETENT BUT MEDIOCRE
Come back when you've gotten hyped for a trainwreck.
Try getting hyped for Spore
...
I was beyond disappointed with Brink. I played it at launch and it was pretty much unplayable on AMD hardware unless you consider 15-25 FPS playable with massive black patches and missing textures.
I went back a few weeks later after it was patched but the damage was already done.
MGSV. I've enjoyed every second of gameplay and yeah, story was retarded, but so was in many other MGS. The fact that Konami released an unfinished game is still making me shit myself with rage though.
CHAPTER 3 NEVER
mass effect 3 was a super massive eye opener for me
and the months following its infamous ending with its notoriously aggressive PR campaign was JUST
I bought both versions. My brother bought 3 times since he had the wii version and both 360 iterations. Hoping Bayonetta gets that treatment one day.
The ending only bothered you because the media told you not to like it. Caring that much about the dragged out reaper story finally ending.
Gothic 3
I pre-ordered it
Never bought a game since then.
>The ending only bothered you because the media told you not to like it.
this is blatantly untrue. the media was defending the ending and calling all the whiny gamers entitled unless you forgot about that whole argument
