Of course it failed. It's fucking boring
Its a fun idea and all, but it really has no lasting appeal at all.
No shit.
There's fuckall to do there.
You either dress up your mii, answer Nintendo's data mining machine or lose at pachinko.
I only use it for My Nintendo coins
It ain't that surprising. It doesn't have much meat at all.
>Nintendo desperately tries to move into the smartphone market, their main competitor
>fails
They're doomed, aren't they?
...
A game that isn't actually a game has no lasting appeal? Go fucking figure.
I only recently got a new phone that could run it (my Galaxy S2 was 5 years old) but I'm enjoying it a whole lot
Makes me wish I had more friends to add
Also, maybe it'd also help if My Nintendo had more compelling rewards and wasn't so crappy
It's fucking nintendo, they're doomed anyways
You will get bored of it in a few days
How the hell did they fuck it up? It started off so strong, too.
There's nothing to do in it
Let's see what happens when they actually make games
4 hour adventures at $60 happens.
>copy either puzzle & dragons, monster strike or granblue fantasy
>Slap all nintendo character on it
>Call it "super smash bros puzzle kerfluffle" or some shit like that
>Roll it in money
But no, have some mii shit and a fire emblem game that we are going to censor so hard it will be a world record instead
lmao dont hold ur breathe kid
but im sure u like mario right
Not surprised, the only game play was answering bland normie questions and hoping normies wouldn't add you
Should I uninstall it?
it's supposed to be a miiverse lite, need games to actually fuel it. In its current state, it's no surprise it failed.
the original goal of this app in japan was to overcome their crippling antisocial tendencies, hence an app that socializes for you
worldwide i knew it would flop because the rest of the planet does not have this issue.
the best thing was the screenshot maker though
Where did they advertise this game?
I remember them not unveiling it until the absolute very last minute
How did it do in Japan?
>get it for Nintendo coins
>add people I know
>boring, predictable answers
>add people online
>nothing but memes
>buggy as fuck
>only things to do are ask questions, like answers, and play pachinko for stupid clothes
>everyone stops using it, meaning even less shit to answer
>realize I get a bunch of coins just by signing into shit weekly
>there isn't even anything decent on MyNintendo
>recent update bloated app's size
It was shit.
It's crazy popular there. Not so much in the rest of the world.
Would be nice to customize rooms
and add some more minigames
I don't think that Japanese are interested in it so much anymore

this is late march and it seemed to be doing fine.
incidentally when they revealed miitomo nintendo's stock briefly plummeted from all the bailing investors who wanted Flappy Mario or something with $1 micro-DLCs
Nintendo said that they wanted this to be a permanent app, like, one that stays relevant for a long time.
The problem is, even if they start pumping out updates, there's no way all those millions of people will download it again just to see what's new.
I'd say Nintendo is going to completely abandon the app in a couple of months.
I'm pretty sure they did that already with P&D
I want to believe either this or classic Wario Ware but I'm pretty sure it will never happen
They said that only classic and famous series, so unless game & Wario has sold a million, never ever. I'd love a WW on mobile too
Even Animal Crossing gets old after like a month. They should have known better than to think that Miitomo would last any better.
