The world felt unique. Unexpected twist that the player slowly discovers. Much more fun to play with Trick Weapons. Bosses ranged from humanoids, to werebeasts, to aliens.

Also the best memes?
Grant us EYES

Sony's funding.

Not even joking, a lot of the staff is from Japan Studio.

I cannot stop playing this game
I can't get bored of it

well they know what they are doing
remember ps1 and ps2?

Waifus.

still pissed about the stupid blur filter and wicked ass long load times

Gameplay, Lore, Atmosphere, Soundtrack, Bosses.

Pretty much this. It's also the reason why Demon's Souls was so good as well

best questline

>bosses

How? A lot of the fights were trivialized either by mashing attack or spamming parry

Bosses that required thought were either limited to chalice dungeons or had multiple enemies or very sparse in the main game otherwise. The only boss I think I struggled on was cleric and gascoigne for learning the game and blood starved beast because I'm really just shit at him

Haven't played the DLC though, which I'm sure addresses that

Combat, World, Atmosphere, Story were all on another level. What they needed to get right, they fucking got right.

The NPCs weren't to the level of the first couple souls games, too many of their questlines were just too linear/short, which is a shame since some of them were quite good. The bosses overall were good, not great.

Chalice dungeons were just a bad idea. There are some smaller mechanics that are just flat out annoying and then made 50x more annoying by the horrific load times. Having to go back to the dream for everything just interrupts the flow of the gameplay too much.

>using parry
Look at this faggot! Learn to roll!

It stayed on the casual systems

>stop using a feature of the game

BB>DS3

It had just the right difficulty for the main game, and took twists no one saw coming with the celestial stuff

out

A lot of bosses have the best strategy of just going in on them. I think that's just how the game was designed.

DLC's bosses were very very good, though. Go play that shit asap.

I agree.

user, everyone is entitled to their opinion. There's no need to start that shit in this thread, though, I agree.

Fucking this. I enjoyed DaS3 a lot but there's just something about BB that keeps me coming back, I don't get it.

Everything

I spend free time ringing for Ludwig, I love it so

stay

It's finally finished. Have you watched it all yet?

>roll
I don't remember ever rolling in that game
What respectable hunter would ever lie down in the filth of Yharnam streets and ..... roll

>okubo will never do a bloodborne manga

It's sad that if developer takes away parry from Souls-game, a vocal minority will complain. Completely useless feature.

its a useful feature that rewards precise players and punishes spamming shitters that do predictable moves

Filth is love, filth is life.

Considering you're covered in literal diseased blood for a good 90% of the game, I'm pretty sure rolling is the least of your worries.

how else do you punish spamming r1 straight-sword faggots without easily parrying them?

>precise
There's like 5 second window to parry almost every enemy. If they limit it to 0.01 second, maybe it would be more fun to use because it wouldn't be so easy.

I like bloodborne, but 2 million sales for 34 million consoles isn't a particularly impressive mark.

Did it really sell that much? I thought Souls-games sell less than a million usually.

>demons shit
>good

getting real tired of this meme

Yeah, I'm not sure why user thinks 2 million is a bad amount?

From is still a niche Japanese developer. This isn't a AAA game. Frankly, it's impressive.

A new world built from the ground up, instead of on existing games.
Lovecraftian feel.
Best amosphere.
Horror elements.
Quicker combat.
Weapons that are all completely viable.

Fuck I love this game. It would be my number 1 if not for the grind of chalice dungeons for gems, the limited variety on armours and the poorly implemented PvP.

>only played around 20 hours
>can't stop playing

Extremely unique and fresh setting compared to the boring sword/board of souls is the biggest strength for me, apart from gameplay feeling smoother and weapons being much more fun.

I'm talking other players

t. sour grapes PCuck

sony went to japasaki and basically went "we have literally no way of selling this console , make demons souls 2, heres a shitload of money"
then dark souls 3 comes out and its shit and like a retard i bought it thinking they had learned from their mistakes with 2 , but no

tldr fromsoft only takes dick from sony

I don't know, you tell me. I played it and nothing really stood out to me as excellent.

I really hate that argument PCfriends use all the time with le 2 million sales.
Dark Souls 1 sold like 5 mil on PC, a platform with a multi-billion install base.
>But not everyone uses PC to game!
And not everyone bought a PS4 to play Bloodborne

t. silly cunt who wasted his wonga on a nogames machine

>BBfags still trying to remain relevant so they dont feel remorse buying a PS4

I played through this twice and only did enough chalice dungeons to know that they're shit.

I don't see myself ever touching it again unless it runs at 60fps on ps4k and even then I'll probably just see if it feels good to play.

>when i have both xbone, PC and PS4 and my xbox have a layer of dust on it and i use my PC for youtube
>when i play my PS4 daily
Remorse? What the fuck is that?

>online
