Mirrors edge was an awesome game marred by a rushed development. The core game was great. It's one of my favorites. It IS full of problems though. The free running and movement were about all they got right (oh, and the God tier soundtrack), and even that had its hiccups. Otherwise, it was short, buggy and had a shit story. None of that stopped me from logging hundreds of hours into it for reasons beyond my comprehension.
