Best Kirby Game.
R-Right....?
Best Kirby Game
Crystal shards
I'll accept it, but SSU comes close
It's kinda mediocre
EXPLAIN
One of the worst Kirby games.
>single move abilities
>practically no puzzles
>subgames are mediocre
>lame final boss
>nothing significant happening in the different areas, what stands out the most are the bosses of each region
>literally only praised because muh Metroidvania and 4 Kirbys despite it actually being rather small in scale and most people on Sup Forums who played it not having friends or never linking the game
>not even the best music for a handheld Kirby
No.
>lame final boss
No. Just. No
>>single move abilities
That's a good thing.
You're right about the rest.
>single move abilities
>good
How?
That ain't Super Star
That ain't even Dream Land 3
>Two Meta Knights instead of just one
It's literally the most perfect game.
More like crystal sharts
those are actually my two favorites
>reskinned Nightmare that's easier to hit
>becomes reskinned Zero that's easier to hit in multiple ways
>becomes reskinned Dark Matter that runs away while the credits scroll
Yes.
i wish i could pull an all-nighter and co-op both 100% with you one day
alas, never ever
More room for uniqueness and variety without making them contrived and without making the game too easy. Amazing Mirror might be low on my list of Kirby games, but it has much better abilities than Triple Deluxe and Robobot.
I think a middle ground would be nice. Maybe 1 - 4 moves per ability, depending on what it is.
What was even his motivation?
no
My least favorite Kirby game.
>boring level design mixed with predictably themed worlds that drag on too long
>Super Abilities manage to make the pacing even worse by having mandatory segments as well as pausing the gameplay during multiplayer to do one attack
>only good thing are EX boss fights/True Arena and you only unlock those by trudging through the entire game collecting everything twice
No.
I don't know OP...
But having one ability makes the game unfun and boring. It doesn't actually make the game harder. I'd rather have abilities that can do a lot rather than abilities that can barely do anything.
>Kirby's Adventure, the best game in the series, is unfun and boring
Get the fuck out.
I'll never understand why autists like Kirby so much
Never played Kirby's Adventure.
I think it's fine, my major point of contention is that Dedede and Meta Knight play as a Bonkers and a Blade Knight clone, respectively, and that Bandana Dee's character was raped, going from a lovable joke boss who's just a Waddle Dee that tries hard to beat Kirby, to a super special snowflake badass killing machine main character with a spear.
You know Kirby's Smash ability in Amazing Mirror, that takes his Melee moves and translates it into a Kirby power? They should have done that for Brawl Dedede and Meta Knight, it would have felt more fitting. And a better player 4 would have been, I dunno, a regular spear Waddle Dee? The painting guy from the N64 game maybe?
I'd rather have abilities that have their own place than a bunch of general use abilities. Kirby shouldn't be a beat-em-up.

This
Kirby's Adventure had good level design and relatively simple puzzles that utilized specific abilities. Amazing Mirror had a neat maze concept, but the areas were dull with enemies thrown all over the place. Abilities didn't feel unique since nearly everything was allowed to cut or burn through the few specific blocks preventing you from reaching another locked sound test song.
Your favorite game is loved by autists
>enemies thrown all over the place
That's not unnusual for Kirby games.
I though stuff like the angel ability felt pretty special.
>Kirby fanboys still exist
I find this difficult to believe, considering how blatantly ignored Kirby was this generation.
>no new IPs
that's reaaaal cute user
It was a mixed bag with the new abilities. Cupid and Missile were neat. Mini was pointless and Magic was just a roulette until Squeak Squad.
Ok, im totally serious here.
This was for me one of the best games i ever played, too bad you cant die.
It's twice as fun with a buddy ^-^
It is pretty great. The music and graphics were fantastic. And although you can't die, the real challenge is getting perfect scores throughout the levels.
>three games this gen
>blatantly ignored
And have you even looked at any Robobot threads? Kirby's doing perfectly fine.
This was a super comfy game, especially with a 2nd player. The ultimate in casual gaming/
I think Kirby's Adventure is. By far, actually.
Good taste.
3D Classics Adventure is the best version. No sound channel interuptions between music and sound effects, and no slow down at all.
lets be honest here, these three games are... kinda garbage
>td
Fine
>rc
Garbage
>rbb
Eh. Fine enough
Kirby's Epic Yarn is the very definition of casual gaming. But in this case its not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination
