Physical vs. Digital

>Console - physical because bigger harddrives are too expensive, indie digital. Always physical on Wii U because Nintendo are retards.

>PC: always digital because it's almost not even possible to get physical anymore. I've accepted that I no longer own my games despite disliking it.

How about you Sup Forums?

Physical whenever possible, because I like to collect games.

>PC: always digital because it's almost not even possible to get physical anymore. I've accepted that I no longer own my games despite disliking it.

You could always buy from gog and such and save all yout game digitally in a external driver.

I only like physical copies as collector's items. Digital is infinitely more convenient.

I have enough clutter in my apartment as it is, digital all around. I just install and delete games as needed.

I only buy digital shit on consoles if its on sale

PC I very rarely buy physical unless its for a CE or its somehow cheaper

Digital because I don't need plastic taking up my space.

>Own two thousand dollars worth of video games on steam.
>Supreme court rules recently that if you buy a license to software, you own that license and can legally resell that license to anyone.
>Steam doesn't allow account sale.
Ill take 750 for it.
Whose buying?

Physical all the way

>same price as digital
>get a box to display
>rarely but sometimes might come with a manual or some novelty to it

Although if digital games were cheaper then I'd go digital all the way, but why pay more for less?

nobody ever

I'm the same outcome, but wrong reasoning.

I like having physical for consoles. I even bought NES Remix and Star Fox Guard physical, just for the sake of it being physical.

I have over 1000 games on Steam and it's thanks to the insanely low prices of digital games.

Exact same as you, op
Except I also enjoy physical because I just like having a collection, and it's nice to be able to let people borrow games/be able to easily play it at someone else's house

>you can't sell games on the steam marketplace
Why?

>because bigger harddrives are too expensive

You can get 2TB for under $130

I either pirate or get digital.

I've never owned a genuine physical copy in my life.

Shut up gayboy I need the new warhammer.

You ever heard the phrase "used games hurts sales"
That would be way way worse digitally because digital games can never come in shit quality.

It's also why digital games tend to be cheaper, they know it wont be re-sold

Physical on consoles

Digital on PC

I have a special shelf for vidya and I cover it with something everytime someone comes over

Especially after my (now ex, guess why) gf found my weebshit

Slowly converting to all digital. The only physical games I own are a handful of PS3 and 3DS games. Honestly I would consider re-buying some PS3 games digital just for the sake of load times.

>Especially after my (now ex, guess why) gf found my weebshit

What exactly was it? Just games or full sized tit figurines or something?

If it was the former, that kinda reaction is a bit too much, especially if you dated for a long time.

Physical doesn't have any advantage on consoles anymore because it downloads the game to the HDD anyway.

Three months

Weebshit is really hated in my country

One small figurine, not even sexual (Shinobu from Monogatari series) a couple of games (Neptunia, Persona, DoA, Senran Kagura) and some novels

I'm really glad that she hasn't told anyone about it

>Weebshit is really hated in my country
>I'm really glad that she hasn't told anyone about it

Where do you live, fucking afghanistan?

Slavlands, small village

If your hair is longer than two inches don't come here without a well sharpened machete

I prefer physical on consoles when I'm buying full-priced games but on PC you don't really have a choice.

Physical is always better because you actually own the physical disc/cart, even if you don't own the data on it.

Digital offers convenience and little else to the end-user but nets publishers more money because there are no manufacturing or distribution costs. These savings are not passed down to the consumer and the publisher just makes more money while having near full control over your game. They decide they don't want you to access it anymore, you're fucked. No one is going to drive to your home and confiscate a physical disc.

Digital is only good for the content-makers/providers, it allows them to maintain complete control over the game you purchased and nets them more money in the process. Digital distribution just means your game is tied to DRM.

Always physical unless it is a burden to get or is significantly cheaper digitally.

>>PC: always digital because it's almost not even possible to get physical anymore.
What kind of shitty area do you live in?

>Small village
>Such a lust for revenge

Physical only on console, no matter what. No physical copy no buy. Only exception has been Yakuza 5
