Take MOBAs for example, they're geared towards obnoxious teenagers with their tryhard gameplay ("i'm not cool at school but i'm cool in this game") and microtransactions (using their parents money). Another example is Undertale, I enjoyed it and I don't think it's shit but while playing I did think it was very inoffensive and the kind of game tumblrites and "earthbound nerds" would latch on to.
