Welp, time to get the DLC finally. Thanks for the heads up.

Can a @Mod delete this reply?

>Go get the best Souls game

haha

I think it's EU only.

FUCK

What PS2 game is this?

feels good to be yuropoor, sometimes.

Fuck off shill.

3rd best.

DS1>DS3>BB>DeS>DS2

DS3>BB

which one of them wins in an all-out fight

That's not DeS.

too bad the latter half of DaS is mediocre, and DaS3 is no more than an uninspired Best Hits album, so no matter how good it is on a technical level it fails to feel fresh or leave a lasting impression.

I would actually liked Bloodborne way more if the loading screens were like that. Demon's Souls still the king.

from devianart?
very detailed

>bought bb goty a week ago

>best Souls game

HAHAHAHA !
perfect pic selected for this post

>too bad the latter half of DaS is mediocre
The only blatantly unfinished areas are Izalith and Demon Ruins, and the latter can be accessed before the second half

>i will literally never EVER get to play this game

>my opinion is fact
fuck off

I think you mean DS3>DS=DeS>BB>>>>>>>DS2

BB=DaS=DaS3=DeS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>DaS2

ds2>ds3>lords of the fallen>shit>>bloodborne
I am not a pcuck though

Wtf is wring wit chiu m8?

I bought it for 20 bucks at gamestop during their black Friday deals

wat?

I'm getting a PS4 soon. It's going to come with Uncharted 4, and I'm picking up Bloodborne with the DLC first thing. What else should I get?
And any tips for Bloodborne that aren't spoilers?

just an fyi, bloodborne is brand new at Best Buy for $19. I got it for $16 total the other day because of a reward certificate.

The Doll (fire keeper equivalent) is the last boss.

Here's your (You)

Tell people to go to the chapel, not the infirmary. Except for the old man, tell him to go to the infirmary. And pick a strength build to got with the whirlygig weapon.

Remember fuckos don't fall for the Kosm meme.
It's KOS
NOT KOSM.
Only retards say Kosm.

No she's not. I know who the last bosses are. I know lots of stuff already. Like, how to get the secret ending. I just don't want certain things spoiled.

I beat the game, got the Platinum trophy, all the trophies in the DLC, and I still don't understand what happened in the game.

How?

I want this so bad but I don't have a PS4

Everything was so cryptic and nothing made sense unless I read in Sup Forums or the general.
Lots of the lore picture threads make sense of everything, but I could never piece all that together during my playthrough.

Just wait for the PC release :^)

Here's a pic of these most recent games. Hard to recommend any when you don't tell us what your tastes are.

I do think EDF4.1 is a must buy, though.

As for Bloodborne tips, pick the pistol at the start, and don't invest more than 5 points in stamina, focus on your health instead (50 being the cap), also only do bloodtinge or arcane build on your second playthrough one you're more familiar with specific weapon drops and other mechanics. That's pretty much it, have fun.

Is it your first souls game? I noticed that at least for me I got better at deciphering lore each successive game I played, but I thing bloodborne might be the most straightforward of all the games.

I been playing Souls since Demon's.
Literally though, I'm so retarded that unless they blatantly tell me, I'm not gonna understand it.
All souls games I don't know the story.
Every boss I kill I never know who they are or what their purpose was.

But nigga you already spoiled yourself on the most important story shit.

iktf

Already did, still not the best Souls game. Chalice Dungeons makes sure of that.

BB is okay for one playthrough (or 2), no replay value though.
3rd best souls game, after DaS1 and SotFs

god fucking damn I bought the dlc 3 days ago.

For how long does the offer last?

I just ordered a PS4

Are you a Euro, cuz I think someone said it's only for Europe.

>tfw no ps4

I'm waiting for the neo to come out before I buy a ps4 desu, either the neo won't be worth it and old ps4s will be cheaper or it'll be worth it and I'll just get that version

how do the chalice dungeons make the game worse?
they're completely optional
>b-b-but i must have the best gems or i get BTFO by literally everyone

Does the story not interest you as much? For me I'm all about the gameplay the first run and then I try looking for story bits in my later playthroughs.
at least the community has enough lore channels to help people out.

the story is very shallow at best

This, you don't even have to look at them, if you need the best gems to beat enemies then you're just a shitter.

I like the story.
After I beat the game I browse the threads and look at the pictures and read the lore.
Bloodborne's story was actually the most interesting to me, yet still not 100% on everything.

Yea, eurofag.

None of the above.

wait 50 years and emulate it bro.

Literally makes me worse in PvP if I actually played it, don't actually pay for that shit so doesn't matter. But the worst part is all the unique content in it that I'm actually interested in but is locked behind the worst shit, the biggest ass, the filthiest dung that's being passed off as """""""level design"""""""" to get to it. The random generation of levels is not interesting. It just doesn't do the job. And having to play through so many of the fucking things to get to the unique shit is such a fucking pain

DON'T FUCKING FORGET. The FUCKING bullshit of making regular-ass enemies into bosses. Literally reversing the shit DaS does with Taurus and Capra, and makes the pig and Brainsucker enemies into bosses, with suitably annoying healtbars for such a shit fight.

I liked it the most too, I think that might be because a lot of dark souls story elements being metaphorical or symbolic while bloodborne being more literal in its lore. Plus elder got shit is rad.

...

PS store says valid until 02/06.

They should honestly pay me for even playing that piece of shit animu game

I never understood this "no replay value" thing. BB is by far the one I replayed the most. None of them do anything drastically different in order to get rated on various levels of "replayability"

It's 100% down to your preference. I find the second half of DaS always disappointing and more of a chore, DaS 2 I could barely manage to finish the first time, and on my second DaS3 character I just kept thinking how I wish I was playing Bloodborne instead.

yup, smart move. it's a win-win for you regardless of which model you end up getting

Like the anons said, it's entirely optional content. Not even in the "Bro, it's just a secret side area don't be mad at it" kind of way, it's more optional than optional areas in the main game. It's clear it wasn't a big focus. I still like then add battle arenas to spend a dozen extra hours testing my builds, but factoring them in when it comes to judging BB's quality is a bit silly.

Thanks.

>not posting the Lady Maria OC Donut Steel

Aside from Bloodborne, you're basically just going to be left with buyer's remorse (there was a lot more remorse before The Old Hunters). Guilty Gear is probably the only game that I'm even consider buying for it. Everything else looks awful or is on PC.

There's no magic in the game, which really limits the number of different builds, and the PvP just sucks imo. It's definitely on the lower end of replayability for souls games

Chalice dungeons literally have unique bosses in there. It has unique items in there. There's also several items in terms of lore. It's "optional", but clearly I'm missing out on shit I want amongst the shit I don't.

>tfw whipping Maria to death with the cane while wearing an onahole on my cock

Which clothing had an onahole on your cock?

...

I only found it so replayable because while limited as balls, the combat was refreshing and the weapon movesets gave you a lot to work with. That plus one of the most engrossing settings I've come across; figuring out the world is a very key component to Souls replayability.

I only step foot in dungeons for the random coop, though. I hate doing them normally. The bosses are fun but the rest is garbage. They highlight just how necessary solid level design and world building are in the Souls games.

>tfw you beat the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst first time

Both of you get the flying fuck out.

Is this only on the Euro store? I already own a physical copy of BB but I'll admit, if it was cheap enough I'd buy it digital to save changing discs in the future as I come back to the game regularly.

Both of you get the nigger fuck out.

>if it was cheap enough I'd buy it digital to save changing discs

>being a literal fatfuck and hassled to get up, go allllll the way to the PS4, swap discs, travell allllllll the way back to your fucking gaming chair

Thanks. was expecting a deal

>play
>station
>store

>fat fuck
nah nigger, I just like the convenience of digital especially if I'm switching games every 30 mins. I buy physical though because digital copies are glorified rentals.

Thanks friend! I can't wait to plat Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC on my Playstation 4 gaming/multimedia device :) #4theplayers

what are you talking about? Arcane build is one of the most fun magic builds in the Souls franchise, it's pretty much the only transformation mode done right with all of your JoJo animations and attacks changed, each one of them being a different spell, then you add the hunter tools on top of that, like the summonable giant snake. DaS games have more spell variety but in praticality you end up only using 3 to 4 spells at any given moment due to atunnement slot restrictions. It's a toss between simpler but more playstyles (DaS's) or a singular much more fleshed out build (BB).

Bloodtinge builds are also unique to BB and one could say that focusing on guns + fun bloodtinge weapons is a sort of hybrid magic/melee build akin to pyromancy with sacred flame.

If pic related isn't magiccal then I don't know what is.

Also stop projecting your vidya tastes onto others, just because you only find interest in Bloodborne and GG doesn't mean that user will be bored with the plethora of AA games already out there that you just so happen to not care about. There are plenty of 100+ hour games out there already

pretty much, I like BB's setting and alternative progression paths so much that I ended up playing it more. Other anons might find DaS1's world more appealing and play that instead.

There is no magical feature in any Souls game that adds replayability compared to any other. It's not like one has a MonsterHunter-style boss rush mode with a deep addicting crafting system. They are all pretty much the same with minor differences, it's really up to preference

I care more about bosses, areas, and weapons. Those I've been super good at hiding from and only know what about 4 of the bosses look like.

Do yourself a favor and make a Milkweed build.

I don't really take to magic in Souls, but I adore arcane in Bb. The character animation your hunter gets alone are worth it, and since you can blood bullet over and over again for spells it adds a layer of resource management to the combat that's fun.

>playing DaS3
>fantasizing about Bloodborne

I'm sorry DaS3, I still love her...

I remember the first time I played through BB and was disappointed at how few weapons there were in the game. Then I realized how varied each weapon was from the others, aside from saw cleaver/spear. This led to me replaying BB the most as well.

Arcane build is probably my favorite, though I've always been bias to magic builds.

Anyone who's a fan of the moonlight greatsword, make sure to try out the BB version. It's the best one.

And don't forget fun bloodtinge builds, they edge out the competition!

Should I make a male or female character? I feel male would look better in the armor, are there any sexy armors?

You can get a nice butt or thigh-highs look going but nothing too extreme.

Males are much easier to make them look good in the creator and in armor due to the proportions of them.

make a boyish tomboy and make sure she's cute for Doll.

...

0:07 to 0:09
heh, nothin' personal, kids

most of the armor cover up the character or are very loose fitting, standard Victorian attire.

so some of the armor on female characters kinda make them look like male characters.

except for the knight armor. Which IMO it looks the best on female characters

>thigh highs
Can I see?

Is an Arcane build the cauliflower ayy lmao? I saw a guy use a giant dragon head that came out of the ground, is that magic, or what? Basically, can I be an edgy spell caster, or only an ayy lmao to perform spells, because the only spell I've seen it do is the explosion one around itself, besides that is just danced around.

...

There are more spells than that, and it is an Arcan build.

It's a snake head and it's the Madara's Whistle hunter tool, which is actually bloodtinge based. There are many hunter tools (spells) and not all of them have an arcane req.
