I'm going to rock smash III tomorrow (a Canadian regional), it's my first tournament ever

The FFAs in this game feel way better than the ones in Brawl and 4, not only that but the items feel like a lot less bullshit so they're actually fun to play with them on.

Normally at the small hosting gigs we've done, like 15-20 people show up. On our facebook event page, we have at least 35 or so people committed to going , plus another 25 or so being interested. Plus there are numbers of people who are going but don't use facebook since I've heard the word get around about the tournament

Be conscious that you're around people who have the same interests as you. Play lots of friendlies with randoms, chat it up, and don't be a sore loser if you lose. If you get your teeth kicked in by someone, don't be surprised since tourney people are on a different level. Also be hygienic and clean

no need to worry then my man, just make sure you have two setups and always have at least one set going on.

keep the place air conditioned and have drinks available if you can. you don't have to do anything crazy, people will have fun.

I played it at my cousins house. I thought it was fun, about the same as brawl when I played it.

Half and half. Online is usually good with another person, but when it's four, some faggot's bound to make a little lag happen.

I need more people to play with, honestly. Everyone's a Melee player here.

You'll never run out of 3ds players online. I'm also in the Navy, so when our ship goes on an underway we've got a dozen people with a copy ready.

Not much to be jealous of. You pretty much can't play any other game. At all. There's kind of a Guilty Gear scene, but everything else is dead. Completely.

he actually has more than one good move, a chail grab/good throw followups, a passable projectile and strong recovery which is way more than characters like bowser/kirby/zelda can say
