Why didn't he ever speak to Mia when she was being channeled by Pearl and talk to her about anything?
Why didn't he ever speak to Mia when she was being channeled by Pearl and talk to her about anything?
Why didn't he just burn Morgan's letter? Why did he think Phoenix was responsible for Mia's death when he successfully accused her murderer? Where is all his coffee coming from?
Well Phoenix and the others did sort of just leave there two there by themselves for a while at the end after Phoenix gave Godot a literal brain hemorrhage from that double objection.
Because Godot is shit
I guess he couldn't believe at first? IDK
>Why didn't he just burn Morgan's letter?
To see Dahlia again apparently
>Why did he think Phoenix was responsible for Mia's death when he successfully accused her murderer?
He didn't he was just lying to himself
>Where is all his coffee coming from?
The Bailiff maybe?
>Why didn't he just burn Morgan's letter?
Because then he wouldn't get to stab Dahlia and snatch victory out of her clutches to make her ghost super pissed.
His motives were purely revenge-driven, not logical.
>Why did he think Phoenix was responsible for Mia's death when he successfully accused her murderer?
Didn't he say he blame Pheonix for failing to protect her? At least, that's the impression I always got.
>Fittingly, but perhaps unintentionally, Redd White's name seems to fit with Godot's inability to see the color red against a white background, as he was unable to see Mia's murder by White take place.
Initially
>Why did he think Phoenix was responsible for Mia's death when he successfully accused her murderer?
To be fair even if you set that aside, Phoenix WAS the one who (unknowingly) held onto Dahlia's poison that she'd later use to put Godot in his coma. He still has another reason to hate the guy.
>hating someone for being an unknowing accomplice
Look everyone, it's the physical manifestation of Japanifornia law.
>Upon awakening, however, he learned that Mia Fey, the woman he loved, had been murdered a year prior by Redd White. Furthermore, Dahlia Hawthorne, the woman he hated, had already been brought to justice. Armando blamed Fey's understudy Phoenix Wright for her death and became a prosecutor to test his worthiness to succeed her. He began wearing a special visor over his eyes that enabled him to see, although it was limited in that he could not see red on a white background. Considering his old self to have "died", he took on the new name "Godot".
Might as well make this go here: what did you guys think of the latest anime episode?
Seeing the classic 1-4 intro in motion was really cool, as was having Grossberg have a breakdown over what he did. I'm really liking the added scenes they have throughout the series, feels like logical extensions of the games.
>Furthermore, Dahlia Hawthorne, the woman he hated, had already been brought to justice.
I wonder how things would have turned out if Redd White was still alive and Godot actually did have someone to go after
Is the animation not shit yet
Godot had to suffer severe depression.
Has anyone watched the Waiting for Godot play?
It's actually pretty funny
It honestly gets better.
I didn't really believe it at first but it does
I have readed the book, one of my favorite desu.
The pacing is still way too fast, and for all of the nice additions there are plenty of stupid choices (like completely glossing over Dee Vasquez's reason for resenting Hammer).
It's pretty good. It's Absurdism at it's finest.
Gogo a qte

>Wright was upset that he had been unable to save Godot, but Mia assured him that he had saved Godot in a way that had nothing to do with living or dying.
2deep and Pretty sad .
This particular character always depresses me.
Lol bro your funny!
So uh
Did the justice system kill him?
Did any else get kind of tired or jaded with AA games after the trilogy? AA4 and DD just felt off for some reason.
For one murder?
Nope, enjoy them as much as ever. Mystery fiction is not exactly a formula that gets old, so long as there are more mysteries to come up with (and there are always more mysteries).
and also lying to the court and trying to pin the blame on Iris
Also, how does everyone feel about Dahlia as a villain?
it was premeditated, though. don't they execute people for that in japanifornia? or am i mistaken?
The justice system of the AA universe doesn't fuck around. Unless you're committing a lesser crime like tampering with a crime scene or acting as an accomplice, you're gonna hang.
Its not exactly confirmed, but we can assume based on this picture and Dahlia's fate that he was executed. If you're a Godot-fan you can just assume he's rotting in jail like Kristoph, I think death would be better though.
The chef who was falsely in prison for premediated murder wasn't executed.
yeah but then you can get weird situations like frank sahwit still being alive in GK2, so it's my understanding that only premeditated murder gets capital punishment.
oh, hm, good point. not sure what the hell, then.
>Unless you're committing a lesser crime like tampering with a crime scene or acting as an accomplice, you're gonna hang.
You don't even do get any punishment for that it seems like, unless you're a lawyer.
Crimes in Ace Attorney are like this
Anything less than murder: No problem!
Murder: EXECUTE THEM NOW
To be fair it seems like prosecutors do get preferential treatment no matter what they might have done. Look at Blackquill.
I don't remember but was Blackquill on death row?
He is physically week so its possible he was just holding on his last breaths.
yes, he was. it was a key plot point, actually.
Blackquil was a special case
Edgeworth doesn't believe he did the crime, according to Cosmos they rushed it just to make the government happy because they are jealous fucks.
He allowed Blackquil to prosecute to fine the real culprit, but he was still given a death sentence 7 years later
Yes
He was
Turnabout for Tommorrow happens literally a day before his execution
It's weird imo, because if Redd White is going to be executed anyway why did he fess up on the murder.
Engarde also prefers prison than be hunted by DeKiller.
why is soldier 76 in court room?
Nah
They won't and can't replicate the original feel, so the next best thing is going it'll different situations
And the games have their own special feels to them In terms of mysteries and writing plot points
That will never die
AJ focusing on a Lawyer's downfall being part of a much bigger plan to murder an entire family was great
And DD having the issue of trust and misconceptions from all sides in a crucial moment was really great in my opinion, especially the massive amount of circumstances once you finally face edgeworth in court
And even Spirit of Justice is going on own concept and point of view with a countries laws with a rebellion etc, I'm looking forward to it
