Kek. Zelda does a way better job of cluing you into various possibilities without telling you shit outright. Souls barely has anything that could be called a puzzle in comparison, you either know exactly what to do or you wander round until you stumble upon the solution.

Zelda had a good run but ultimately let too many gamers down. Dark Souls has become better with each game while providing interesting lore and gameplay.
