Post screenshots from this masterpiece

...

It's pretty meh. Graphics are all it has going for it.

>That modded grass density and foliage LOD distance

If only I could run that at 60fps.

Yeah the combat is meh. I loved Hearts of Stone though, better bosses and story

Save up for 1080 and you will be able to do the same

...

texturework is the only thing that impresses me nowadays

Eh, I can already buy one, I just don't adopt new tech that quickly.

It's also not necessary at the moment.

...

>That
>Impressive texturework

user

Man if only that water didn't look like aids.

Yeah, I usually wait till it drops in price before I buy any component. Wait for user reviews and bugs to get ironed out.

which is retarded and archaic

animation, shaders, lighting and clever rendering techniques (which don't kill all your resources and allow for a stable performance) are more impressive than anything

but you idiots only seem to look at pretty screenshots instead of the overal look and playfeel

Agree, I still blame underpowered consoles

...

...

Remember water from debut trailer?

Blame CDPR who chose to take the PC version down to console level

I blame CDPR and consoles, CDPR for not having enough resources and consoles for being shitty

>for not having enough resources
How is that the reason?

I still haven't seen textures better than Witcher 3's conversation cutscenes. Seriously the leather/clothing textures look too real

...

nature doesn't have much of the impressive animation - it's just wind and shimmering here and there.
Since every single game has now 5 layers of shader effects and, at least, well-prebaked scene lighting, textures is the only thing really makes the game to stand out

did you say TEXTURES????

is she wearing an inverted burka?

Yes. That.

>game developers can't even get paths right

Are those tire tracks I see on those grass paths? (Dirt, grass middle, dirt)

Lmfao

Game?

horse and people paths have one stripe of dirt

main roads where horse carriages pass usually have two stripes of dirt with one of grass in the middle.

the wheel had already been invented in the Witcher universe...

Guess what the horse would trample the middle.

Battlefield Hardline

>implying everyone rides in single file

>Implying a horse doesn't walk in front of carriages

you're a whole new level of retard

are you fucking daft

look at that is a road where carriages ride along (note no vegetation because the horse rides in the middle)

now look at a road where less carriages would ride along, and more groups of people who wouldnt always ride single file

then there is which has very small regrowth in the centre from long time untravelled and horse hoves being less damaging to vegetation than the cutting of wheels

also

you're a whole new level of retard

You really think the average peasant can afford two horses?

> 560ti
>plays tw2 on high
>i should have no problem playing tw3

fuck, time to upgrade. can only run this bitch on med with no post processing.

these screenshots are making me jealous

the main roads were mainly travelled by merchants which had large carrieges with lots of goods in them requiring two horses, and wealthy people which also had two horses.

poor peasants would travel by foot.

just give up, you're making a fool of yourself.

Renaissance or similar art from the middle ages never depicts the middle of roads as overgrown.

make sure you have the latest patches, the game looks and runs better with them since lots of shit was fixed.

Pic related this time

they were too busy depicting jousting realistic knights riding realistic gigantic snails.

Good job providing a painting of pompus rich people from 1901 as a reference for almost abandoned roads in a medieval setting

>Old paintings didn't show it so that's not how nature works irl

??

...

that setting is obviously more modern and those 1 horse carriages were used for short distances and quite famous in more recent times.

the paths you see in witcher are main roads old timey roads you dipshit.

...

what this game needs to make it 10/10 is a more in depth combat system. shit's already easy on death march if you just hit alt and space.

Also let us build our own castle

>Also let us build our own castle

>spend 500h gathering wood and stone instead of questing
>build a gynormous castle right next to wyzima
>Emhyr sees it's bigger than all of his castles
>gives up
>end credits
