I don't want to talk about the final nail in the coffin. Let's remember the happy times. Did you prefer the Classic or X series? Which ones? Who was your favorite Robot Master?
I don't want to talk about the final nail in the coffin. Let's remember the happy times...
Megaman was never good
X and Legends.
Take that back cunt
I prefered Battle Network.
MM2 and X4 held special places in my heart though.
>I don't want to talk about the final nail in the coffin
I sincerely hoping you aren't talking about that new cartoon, because if you are, you clearly don't realize that you've missed the funeral and the eulogy.
Zero>Classic>X>ZX>BN>shit>piss>legends
X series and the Zero games were always my favourites, even if half their respective games were mediocre or shit at best, the other half managed to shine through. Classic was good too, but they never quite felt as satisfying.
What's his superpower?
Tops
Metal Man and Pharaoh Man were the coolest robot masters.
BUY ME
...
being boss.
Will he dream?
of everlasting peace
And here I thought the quint theory was where he went. Nope, television show.
Who would you invite to his funeral to pay respects?
The edge brigade.
The X series was what I grew up on, X4 being the first. I think the original is still my favorite though with special mention to the PSP remake.
Did he get fucked?
Is he for sexual?
Jonny Quest, The Hardy Boys and Robin.
What the fuck is inafune excuse, Ive never keeped up with the news articles how does he defend "Im sorry about delaying it" and does anybody ask him why the product looks like shit.
Nintendo Can delay a game as many times as they want because they're a big name company but Inafune is part of a kick-starter project does he get away with it because of former "cred" in the industry?
The first Megaman game I played was the original for Game Boy. Then I got into the X Series. Both good. Always loved Zero.
Been meaning to check out Rockman dash.
He didn't deserve it so bad
No matter how much you draw the new design in fanart it will look like shit in the official cartoon like all current day Cartoons for kids
Can't stop the top user.
>has damn near 100+ games spanning multiple genres
>games don't sell well anymore
>shelves franchise
>still a shoe-in for every crossover
>most other Capcom IPs haven't and never will get a fraction of the push that Megaman got by Capcom
what do you guys even want, I don't get it
when i was young i was hoping to see his and bass corpse in mm zero to put a end to my childhood. i think not know if he lived or died was a big sorrowful thing as i grew up with that ver of him and at least seeing him would in my mind put him to rest
I've been a Megaman fan for years. An AU cartoon show will not hurt the series. Sega made Sonic Boom and they also said that they're still making mainline games with one confirmed to be in development. Fuck you "fans" and your victim complex.
I enjoy Mega Man and X games (1-5) equally.
I love Zero but Mega Man Zero is dark and depressing. Plus the enemies are not memorable in the least bit besides Copy X and his copies.
I prefer the X series but I still love the classic series.
>Favorite robot master: Magnet man
>Favorite Maverick:Cyber Pea[/spoiler cock
Funny, it's the opposite for me, I found Zero and ZX enemies the most memorable. Their designs are genius.
I'm probably the only one but I'm going to say that the Starforce series is my favorite. Sure it wasn't the best gameplay wise but the character interaction and development was pretty damn good.Kind of sad to see the series go like this
Zero is the best series.
Starforce had the most original concept I have seen: Alien beings made of electromagnetic radiation that live in a world of EM radiation.
Megaman and Bass and X2 were my favorites. Bass was great for replay value since changing boss order made a bigger difference and with two different play styles to boot.
I prefer Classic to X (and I played the X series first). Megaman X is still my favorite in the X series with X3 right behind it, as for Classic 3 is what got me into the series, but I'd have to say 9 was my favorite.
Retarded
Best games are 8 and X4.
ALSO START POSTING MEGAMAN MUSIC, YOU FRICKS.
Homolust, if you've read Bob and George
no he is for justice
Zero games are shit, familia. The camera is too zoomed in, the level design relies too much on spikes instead of being clever, audio quality is garbage (as per usual with GBA games), and Zero doesn't control as well as he did in the X series. Also the art sucks.
The MM&Bass version is the comfiest megaman track of all time
youtube.com
Not him but even though I agree with most of your complaints I still wouldn't say it's actual shit.
I liked that there was a base that you can roan around in and interact with people before each mission. I also think most of the bosses were fun as fuck.
Zero was really an insufferable faggot for most of that series though, until the end part of MMZ4.
I love the classic series. MM2-4, MMV, and MM9 are all great. I like the first few X games a lot, especially the original.
That's about it. I hated the Zero series.
That's just TOO comfy for an action game...
X series was better, objectively.
Favourite boss was Overdrive Ostrich from Megaman X2,
Ok, going from what another user said, Aki can mean shining or apparently second hope. Which can allude to Protoman. Hopefully Roll is in this. If they keep they naming scheme then Roll's name could be rising. Rise and shine. What would Blues be.
eternal sleep
RIP
Is Megaman legitimately one of the most grimdark and fucked up franchises as time went on?
We'll never know what happened to him.
Yep.
>Megaman wasn't too bad. They were all robots without free will, until Light built X.
>In X, a virus can infect any Reploid, changing their minds in an instant and turning them on former friends.
>In Zero, there was a Reploid genocide while Zero was sleeping, and he wakes up and has to stop no less than three genocidal maniacs, ending with his own sacrifice. Fun fact: Inafune actually wanted Copy X in Zero 1 to just be X, but Capcom shut him down.
I can only imagine if Inafune had been allowed to continue off of Zero, it'd have involved some even more fucked up shit happening to the world.
