too small

My biggest complaint is that you can't go to all the big casinos in Las Venturas, only the two main ones and a little one.

Other than that, it's a 10/10 map.

Rotated 90 degrees counter clockwise

the country levels sucked

It's flipped.

Fuck off. Maps are way too big these days. Instead of memorizing most of the map like we did with GTA 3, VC, and to a lesser extent, SA, now it's impossible to do that and just have to rely on the fucking GPS now.

meant for

No places with snow. Only complaint.

that line in the water at the bottom

If you can memorize every inch of s map, it's too small. Plus memorizing even a large city is easy.

It's mirrored.

where's san fierro?

It's mirrored plus without the PS2 draw distance you KNOW you're driving around the map in 4 mins flat

too much forest, not enough desert

>no heavy temperate forest forest

This. Personally, I say the larger GTA maps get the better, so long as the content is distributed properly and there's actually shit to do

Very underated post.

How so? It's probably as big as GTA V, as it's a square, and V is a rectangle (vs. the walking measurements).

increase the view distance via modding and you can literally see San Fierro from Los Santos

The same could be said for V though.

but San Fierro isn't in GTA V

How they managed to fit San Andreas' map on a fucking PS2 I'll never know. Fallout 4 can barely run on a console.

OK.

The desert area is way too small for the size of the Military base. The end game area (Los Venturas) is the most forgettable one. That's it.

I'm probably the only one on Sup Forums who's played this

is that part of a total conversion mod or something?

the games textures look like shit even for 2004 and it runs at sub 30 fps but yeah it was pretty damn impressive back then.

part of your mother

This area right here is wasted. Its been years since i played. But i only remember the boat license stuff being that and thats it. And no real story going there.

Yeah it makes San Andreas a whole new game

>if you increase the view distance, you can see farther, so that means it's too small
Golly gee, user. You sure convinced me with that flawless logic.

Rockstar is not Betheshit. GTA V is much larger than Fallout 4, looks much better and actually runs at a stable framerate. Same can be said about The Witcher 3.

Isn't it supposed to be part of san fierro? You can't even reach it until the third island is unlocked.
Excluding one scrapped mission with the truth, and the boating school nothing at all happens there. Why did they even bother adding that in? Was it just for the bridge? I don't even remember any houses or restaurants or anything there.

its very interesting.
I realise this is flipped but I also see this map the same way I looked at PS1 GTA 10 years ago
