There are people on Sup Forums right now who have the same age of the Playstation 2
>megaman x is 23 years old
>I bought it brand new with money from mowing yards
>You witnessed the growth, development, and overall changes the internet went through
I HOLD ON SO NERVOUSLY
Aside from the amount of porn it's largely unchanged.
Parappa hasn't had a game in over 14 years.
Lammy hasn't done anything in 14 years.
>automatically considered anyone who started browsing Sup Forums after 2010 a newfag

It's now much easier for people to find their little hugboxes and ignore/shut out/hate everyone else online.
Don't look up the halo 2 e3 preview

>tfw you have consoles that are old enough to drive a car and drink
>that are older than some Sup Forums posters
>you still play it
>its starting to break down
You can't die yet Sega Saturn!
The Halo: Combat Evolved E3 trailer is even more crazy.
For some stupid fucking reason I wanted to find this song the other day. That and that generic punk pop song that youtube videos used to use in 2007.
>when facebook icons werent on real life packaging
DS came out 12 years ago
You're browsing this site with people whose childhood game came out after 2007
>I was 12 years old
Where has time gone?
You are now older then "Adult" Link.
Shit nigger I bet you were blown away by Tales of Symphonia and RE4.
Sotc was featured on a movie about 9/11

There are people on Sup Forums right now that dont know how life was like before smartphones and being connected to the internet all the time.

>invader zim hasn't aired a new episode since 2006
ToS was gud, but Suikoden III blew me away.
I hated RE4 because it "wasn't RE". Later in life I realized it was a solid game, even though a shifty RE game.
>i turn 23 in 2 days
>havent had a bday party or anything since i was 19
>no friends
>I have to work any ways
Where did it all go wrong?
My sister came up to me the other day and asked how humans figured out how to tap into wi-fi, since I'm 27. I was just confused so I asked her to explain, turns out that she thought wi-fi was a natural thing that's in the air or some shit, like humidity. She's seventeen years old.
>31 year old NEET
>never been happier but suicide is inevitable
>life before smart phones
That decade and a half of no cell phones was nice.
That and memes spread more easily
Shut the fuck up Onsokumaru
Back when I was in school this kid asked the history teacher when color came to the universe, because she thought the world used to be black and white.
I've had access to the internet for over 20 years. I used BBs, I used Prodigy Classic (JHJB68C, never forget my login# but fuck if I know my mom/dad's cell#s), and can remember when AOL started.
My first fap was an image from the SFII animated movie of Chunny in the shower. I played outside...
It'll be 30 years this year since I threw up 7 times on Christmas day when I got my NES.
I don't need Sup Forums to feel old.
>still have the NES that my parents bought me for Christmas 1991
>even though we were late adapters for the thing, it's still over a decade older than some 4channers
>we're closer to 2030 then 2000.
>still don't own a smartphone
>barely use the internet for anything besides Sup Forums and vidya
You were a hipster elitest before it was cool user, pretty cool.
I guess that's fine for a kid to thi-
>She's seventeen years old
What the fuck? wifi wasn't even a very popular thing until like, 2006.
Not really. People are just more aware of them, which means they try to "make their own memes" because they have no idea what a meme is.
Which sounds contradictory, but it isn't.
>life before highspeed internet and info on games being so readily available
>had to use word of mouth
>zooz
Public education is a wonderful thing. If you decide to curse your children by bringing them into this horrible world, look forward to them being even dumber than this.
Sup Forums is slowly being dominated by a younger generation and you're feeling less and less like you belong here
>just got a smartphone last year
>barely use it

Same as me man. Weird being the guy at the office who knows computers better than my coworkers, while also being the only one who still uses a flip phone.

Must be uncomfortable as fuck to have chainmail directly on your skin.
How long ago was it when G4 bought TechTV?
I'm only 22 but I'm starting to feel like I'm too old to be here. Literally every thread feels ironic/trollish now.
I just imagine I'm being pinched by the girl I have a crush on. A dozen times a second.

GIANT ENEMY CRAB
were memes called anything back when "all your base are belong to us" was a thing?
i remember things like this used to spread back in the day, but i can't remember the phenomenon being called memes until about.... idk, about 2010ish
Anyone else peak in high school? Not socially but, you know, emotionally?
I graduated five years ago, blew through college, and now have a great and high-paying job but I don't feel fulfilled at all like I did back then. Also all of my memories after my first year of college are just a big, giant blur.
Joke or funny thing.
Memes have been around for a long time but the word meme didn't become a meme until around 2005.
>Realizing I will no longer be a middle schooler grinding while listening to a sick background music.

Same here. And you can actually notice whos underage and a newfag just by reading their post. They dont even bother hiding it anymore.

jesus christ. I was just out of high school ffs
The year before highschool started for me I was talking to a couple of friends next to the door to the school and the normally quiet and self-deprecating humor was absent from them because summer break was starting and they finished all their finals (I however had only done standardized testing day)
On the walk home I realized that I didn't feel any less stressed
That was the year I realized I'm a shitty person living a shitty life and that school didn't really mean anything to me
If anything it made going through highschool really shitty
adopters
get it right, user..
>browsing 4chinz after 25
Even moot left? Stop shitposting with 16 year olds and get your money up senpais.
my family p much disowned me but I wish they'd take me to dinner or something. I know its gay as shit but I'd love to just go on my first date for my 23rd birthday, hell I'd even pay.
>This post is now nearly half a decade old
>people put some text, usually in impact font, on an image
>"Lol I made a meme"
I used to correct people and tell them that's an image macro and it can only become a meme if it becomes popular and wide spread. But I've stopped caring long ago.
