Mini sentries are like super easy to manage.
I haven't played in a while but what's the shotgun.
It's 2016, nobody has to worry about that
...
I'm a bit annoyed when I see my team's engineers using this meme sentries. Sure you can try to keep it alive indefinitely and piss of the enemy team but a stationary pee shooter is pretty worthless in the grand scheme of things.
Personally for big sentry I'd switch out a short circuit with a wrangler and piss off Demo's, Pyros, Soldiers when I recall it back to my Dispenser. Shit's annoying as fuck. Causes so much salt and rages them to switch to Spy usually.
It's good for really offensive pushes and shutting down scouts that don't know how to play. It's situational.
Every tf2 thread makes me realise that I'm still fucking mad what Valve did to the art style in the search for more shekels
Rescue ranger. Repairs buildings at range.
wow
...
People stay play TF2 when Overwatch exists?
What are you? Poor?

TF2 hasn't been fun in years
As an engi main, they're super easy to kill even if we're right there repairing it.
It's your fault for being afraid of it and trying to run from it WHILE IT'S STILL TARGETING YOU.
Kinda annoying yeah. What made the game unique and enjoyable was removed not just by cosmetics but weapons.
One pill from the grenade launcher will destroy a minisentry. Even if they're spamming with the short circuit you'll probably still get a grenade through, or you can distract them with shooting sticky bombs behind them.
I think it also only takes a direct shot rocket or two to blow it up, and if you're not dealing with the short circuit engi first you're doing it wrong.
Even scouts can circle them and destroy them with bats.
Short circuit won't help if the engi is being spammed. Plus now that the Loch n Load got turned into a sentry buster, it's a lot easier.
No. Overwatch is a better game anyways.
Oh okay.
Well have fun then.
Scout isnt great against minis unless they're placed poorly enough that tactic doesn't matter. I personally think making them repairable was a mistake.
You can easily counter this setup, just by playing Soldier, Pyro, Heavy, Sniper or Spy.
That's more than half of the classes.
I'm sorry you can't play anything esle than Demoman, OP
I love that they made them repairable, now nooby engis try to save their minisentries instead of retreating and getting ready to set up a new one so you can usually take out the engi as well.
I've told you retards for years that mini sentries are the easiest shits to counter and you STILL FUCKING COMPLAIN ABOUT THEM IN 2016
TF2 ISN'T EVEN RELEVANT ANYMORE
YOU'RE STILL COMPLAINING ABOUT MINI SENTRIES IN THE CURRENT YEAR, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BASTION LIKE ALL THE OTHER MOUTHBREATHERS ARE
Making them repairable made some engineers not think.
They repair their dying sentry instead of letting it die and just building another. and what said.
Calm down, user.

Regular sentries are for holding ground at major points. Minisentries are for taking advantage of small pushes and harassing side paths while the parent engy helps with the push, playing like a slow scout and falling back to the sentry as necessary. Both are useful.
I've seen a lot of people do the complete opposite lately. Using minis to hold ground, and regular sentries to make small pushes and such.
No, I play games that require actual skill.
I guess it's bad engies not using it for the intended role, which is as a convenient distraction rather than a reliable point defense.
I don't play games with waifus
