Why does Gaben keep adding these "games" into Steam? Is he secretly a weeb?
Why does Gaben keep adding these "games" into Steam? Is he secretly a weeb?
>visual novel
cute dog
No. He's just openly opportunist
Weeb money is pretty strong
Its tail is coming out of the lower part of its back, not the hind end.
>gaben
>managing anything having to do with steam
Weebs purchase ANYTHING with cute anime girls on it.
I don't blame them tho
Is there a way to block certain tags when searching the Steam store?
/thread
They don't even give you an option to block curators
What do you have against reading senpai?
Weeb games are easy bucks
Gaben loves bucks
Love how nobody knows Muv-Luv in this thread. Bunch of degenerates.
nothing but if you want to read a book well the library is down the street and amazon is a click away i go on steam to play games
>gaben
>doing anything
>actually wanting to know what this shit is
When does the Alternate Version come out?
Isn't the game-iest one is the mecha fanmade one though?
I bet you go on Sup Forums to talk about video games too, faggot.
>these people will never get to experience higurashi because they get triggered by VNs
Who eats ramen like that?
Have you seen weeb profiles on Steam? The client is infested with them.
>mfw I will never experience Higurashi because it doesn't have my favorite VA
I have become faggot, devourers of cocks
Sad and lonely weaboo fucks will buy anything with oppai in it. Also see: overwatch for western equivalent
>implying that you'd be missing out on anything
September or something was promised. Doubt it since Extra/Unlimited got pushed into July.
Then there is side stories coming too like Altered Fable stuff.
>these people will never get to experience Fate because they get triggered by VNs
FTFY
Good for them.
>being on Sup Forums
>complaining about weebs
Off to Reddit with you, lots of politically correct people there.
>These people will never play Umineko but will play through every Phoenix Wright game regardless of the quality
You don't think he plays all of these games, do you? Why is this only questioned with shitty jap games rather than those shitty indie games?
Which is the one where she gets chomped by an ayylien?
>wanting to experience Fate when Prisma Ilya exists
It's a shame how these entry-level VNs gets Greenlit out of all the potentially great idea I seen get canned from Steam.
Because PC does it all, don't act like there isn't shovelware on consoles or handhelds.
They could still watch the anime.
alternative
>last chapter of Tatarigoroshi told on a fucking TV
not really the same is it
>inb4 ironic reviews with less than 2 hours played
Weaboos will also pay top dollar for animu steam cards. I've milked millions of funbux selling cards & booster packs from any shitty 50ยข kusoge with cute girls in it
It's easy income from losers that actually pays for this garbage.

>greentext outside of Sup Forums
Can't wait to get my Meiya daki from Kickstarter.
anime fan on prom night x d
But I'd be glad if even 1 person ends up liking this after seeing it on steam. Maybe they'll make a real game out of muv-luv someday.
But Muv Luv is cool. It has giant robots AND Americans.
youtube.com
Muv Luv has been translated for fucking years but Steamfags dont think anything exists unless its on steam
If only I liked decorating things with images, then I could help make you feel uncomfortable.
>they'll never get to experience Steins;Gate
>that engrish
HOLY SHIT
>Revealing the genre shift in the description
Going in blind is the absolute best
It's too bad it's the main draw of the VN in the first place
I hope you people realize Gabe doesn't personally look over each and every game that passes through Steam.
Let alone do any actual work these days.
>normalfags THIS triggered by anime games being in the store they use
Shouldn't you be more upset by those terrible pixelshit indie games instead?
Virtually anyone who would give a shit about this game already knows the twist at this point.
Just looked this game up. So, is it possible to skip the first half that's apparently about some guy trying to date a girl and get straight to the robot part that takes place in another universe, or am I forced to read the whole thing?
They sell whatever people want to buy. They don't have any interest in filtering or curating their library.
The answer to your question is basically that weebs have money somehow.
>skipping extra
I love Engrish, but the contrast between competency and cultural chauvinism on display there is amazing.
Higurashi isn't even a good VN. I've played Nukige that are better and not just edgy loli gorn.
>Gaben
>playing games
>implying he isnt too busy eating the dev team working on half life 3.
DDDYF-0QZJQ-TXHWM
Yes
People will tell you you're not getting the full experience by not reading dumb bullshit for 30 hours
>So many RIPs : the VN
On the other hand, I'll pass because of the artstyle.
Steam release will have better english voices, but you can choose from options between that or original voices.
>Batman: Arkham Knight
Thanks. I think. It will probably run like shit on my rig.
This VN has a fuckable loli, so it's good.
Tech startups used to be a p.good way to make cash dollars. There's a nice VC cycle of dumping worthless businesses onto institutional investors.
Even our boy moot gave it a shot.
Remember to read Extra, then Altered Fable, and pretend that Alternative doesn't exist.
D7E5E-3GW37-74IAX
>Higurashi
>good
Haha
90% of VNs are glorified porn with terrible high school tier writing
no, he's just being a jew. he's actually making a good business decision. it costs him nothing to host this sort of shit in comparison to AAA games. he's even allowing movies on steam too
more steam content = more money
>just tables no thicks
pass
Anything Valve does is to earn money. So ask yourself this user. Does this give them more money? Then they will do it, no matter what.
Reminder that Meiya is the best girl
This.
Curators are pure cancer
I really don't care about romantic comedies unless there are robots involved. Is it at least serviceable?
Doesn't the anime skip the first part anyway?
Nice Risen man.
This is a background on Steam right now. I'm not even kidding.
I use it as my Steam profile background.
At least they're games.
With all of the horrible, stupid shit on Steam, this is what you choose to complain about? I think you need to get your priorities in order, OP.

HYPEEEE I LOVE SOME SAKURA
This thread is dumb.
What anime? All the Muvluv anime are based around various spinoffs/side stories etc. set in Alternatives world
>Love how nobody knows Muv-Luv in this thread. Bunch of degenerates.
I have no idea what Muv-Luv is, I have no idea what Touhou is, I have no idea what a lot of japanese games actually are. But that doesn't stop me to saving all the r34 of said games.
The one on the right can join my daughter collection.
The one on the left dresses like a slut. I'm not ready to be a grandpa.
He will put anything that makes money. Greedy fat fuck
does this come with Alternative?
store.steampowered.com
gabe loves them anime tiddies and ass
There's forshadowing in extra if you're paying attention. Also unlimited (the part with the Mechs) has the same MC taken from extra. Also the anime spin offs have nothing to do directly with what happens in unlimited and alternative. The relations the main character has with everyone aswell as his very selfish self centered personality take a large role in the story as a whole. Personaly extra is only 10 hours at most and it's worth reading for the rest of the story.
There is some mech action in extra as well which ties in with the rest of the series.
So? They are terrible, shit games that no one should enjoy. Alex Kierkegaard posts scathing reviews of them, and for good reason, but no, instead of picking up his torch and getting rid of terrible shit that people will choose to play for some reason, you waste your time complaining about young adult fiction being sold on the store, most of which do not become meme games that further poison video game culture, unlike the garbage created by indie bums. Even putting aside garbage like Gone Home, you're telling me that garbage like VVVVVVV is really more deserving of steam server space than some random visual novel no one cares about?
That scene? I don't remember if that was in Unlimited or Alternative.
Weeaboo money is just as valid as any other money.
Yes as part of the buy one get one free.
No. I meant does the steam release include Alternative or is it just Extra/Unlimited?
youtube.com
>implying everyone in this thread isn't going to buy this once it comes out
So this is what happened to Wizardry.
Alternative will come later this year in Steam. Side stories too, if everything goes well.
Only the first. Alternative at a later date
Alternative is being sold separately.
Skipping Extra is a bad idea considering that it's a critical part of the whole multiverse timetravel shit that's going on.
Is this game like Umineko, book with music, moving pictures and sounds (ahaha.wav) or do you actually make choices, have different paths, endings, etc?
