That's how it works for me.
I hop around and target their Mecry. Works quite well as their Rein is usually only focused directly in front of him despite having a third person view.

In a pub game you will lose 99% without a Mercy or Lucio, not a great design really.
Because Mercy actually takes skill to play well, which is something most healsluts lack. That's why self-aware shitters like me typically play Lucio.
To be fair, if your team is not even remotely trying to keep people off you, there is very little you can do as Mercy, regardless. Which, again, is why Lucio is better for pubs anyway.

You should've been damage boosting pharah at the begging because she's at full hp. She probably would've been able to take out the roadhog who chained away your tank. Good use of the pistol at the end though. Most Mercy's act like useless whores and let themselves get raped when a weak and isolated enemy confronts them

I've amped so many Hanzos... so very few of them have the decency to land a shot never mind kills. I'm considering an alternative for this situation but since it's such a short game I'll AFK. No need to get bent out of shape because people are often retards.

I usually shoot for 3. One feels like a waste and two is iffy. Four or five always seems unlikely because it requires something to wipe out my entire team except me fairly quickly. So I'd either have to be running back, not healing, or be the only one to avoid an ult
Maybe play as Lucio so you don't have to be fucking babysitted and can actually contribute to the team
Two or more. However on a strong push by the enemy team, or yours, having a body down means less effective pushing. However it should be note it's better for two to three players to die and revive compared to reviving one then letting two die.

Mercy outheals lucio, but only by roughly 25 percent in comparison. Lucio is much better at dealing with damage from multiple sources, whereas mercy has the ability to keep single targets up better. and perform clutch reses.
Lucio is not a better healer than mercy.
These things being said, though, i'd prefer to have a zenyatta/Lucio combo over mercy anyday.

Protip: after a match, if anyone sticks out in your mind as exceptionally good or exceptionally bad, hit escape, go to Social, find their name in that list, right click, and select Prefer/Avoid respectively.
You are more likely to be matched up with them in the future if Preferred, NEVER match up with Avoid unless it's the only open game.
