Hey Sup Forums, I'm developing an online trading card game called Forgotten Lore. The big thing in the game is that every single card is a unique Steam Inventory item that is both tradable and marketable with no strings attached (except for the starter deck).
Just dropping by to get some opinions on the game so far. It actually just released today, as an Early Access title! If you post your steam profile URL in your post I can give your account the game (via a script I have running on this thread) so you can try it out and fight against each other, or me.
Same as the last thread, posting a batch of keys for people to snatch up to start off.
Post steam profile url if you want me to just drop the game in your account (you won't get a notification, it will just show up in your library). Anyways.
The game is kind of a mix between video game pokemon and hearthstone, gameplay wise. You build your tome (deck) out of pages (cards). You can put the pages into different types of tomes for different gameplay styles.
For example, one is Leech. It's a pretty basic tome that sucks 1 HP each turn, but gives you 2 Souls (mana) in exchange. Another is Mill, which does not give or take anything each turn. Instead, you sacrifice cards in your hand to get Souls whenever you please.
There are a bunch of different skills and status effects, like poison, freeze, etc. You attack the other player's tome until it's HP is 0 to win.

Keep it up senpai

>which kills it is victims Come on, son.
Got a key, though, I'll be sure to check this out. Is there instructions for leaving feedblack?
Away from computer otherwise I'd just use a code. I've been wanting something like this for awhile so I'm pretty excited.

I like the concept of being able to trade and buy the cards through steam, but I think valve's stupid trade restrictions as of late might cause issues for it.

Afaik not all of those restrictions apply for every game. Could be wrong tho

I would say that's usually the case but this is supposed to have value outside of the game as well. In a market that is easy to play.
Is there no time limit on turns? I'm in a duel now and the dude's taken like 5 minutes. Also curious about the artwork. Thili, The Pyromancer says, "This is not final art. Waiting for artist.". Does that mean the artist hasn't finished it yet, you're looking for an artist, or what? Just curious.
