Kill hundreds of enemies without losing a single HP point

>waste 20 minutes and all your supplies endleslly killing dumb goons
>losing all your HP and failing was part of the storyline

I think I've only seen one game like this

They were common enough that Sakurai dedicated an entire section of his kid icarus dev doc to shitting on them.

>get knocked unconscious
>wake up somewhere else
>entire inventory has been placed into your bank

You gotta source me up on this shit my man that sounds like a fun read.

>HP point

>Game starts you off as super-powerful
>You lose your powers because you're being punished

>Room full of PMCs with armed with rifles and wearing body armor
>Do a dive and shoot them all in the head before hitting the ground
>Later disarmed without a fight by some fucking Brazilian teenagers

came here to say this but I'm afraid you and I have been bamboozled into replying

It's a very common meme on Sup Forums

>that one stealth sequence where you lose instantly if you're seen
>after you complete it, you get caught during a cutscene and have to kill everyone anyway
The worst part is it's always in games where stealth is shitty or only exists for that part of the game

meme this
*unzips clip*

If its a retarded mechanic like that 9/10 timed its JRPG because thats rhe only way they can stand out.

>defeat boss effortlessly
>he kicks my ass in the next cutscene

Was there any worse example of this than Mass Effect?

>Korgans are basically indestructible monsters
>Wrex is the toughest among them
>He gets in your face
>One pistol shot kills him

Reminds me of that place in The Witcher 2 where you're not supposed to go, near the end, where all the redanian soldiers are gathered. Basically if you roll in, a fight starts and if you get hit like twice, they shoot you in a cutscene and you end up dying.

So I went ahead and killed about 30 of these fuckers before a single one remained. I went so far as to kill him next, and that's where the game simply crashed. Three times in a row. God damn motherfuckers.

>get hit by one attack in a cutscene and getdestroyed
>get hit by same attack 10x in game and survive

>Beat boss while poisoned/burned
>Die to DoT before the game autosaves
>Have to fight the boss again

>you're suppose to lose the boss fight

> Barely kill the boss with a silver of my HP
> Cutscene show boss beaten and tired
> MC confidently tells him to surrender, pristine clothes and all

>this was supposed to be a threat to endgame Link

>Character uses self as meat shield for attack main character can obviously tanks and dies
This is the dumbest shit.

>You win anyway
>Everyone acknowledges that you're a huge badass

I hate this. I remember a few games, a DBZ one comes to mind right away that actually reward you if you change the outcome of the story by being just that good. Beside a minor dialog change you will also get a neat item.

> mfw Wind Waker has a forced stealth section right in the beginning of the game

This is why I hate starting a new game.

...

This is why assassin's creed was a shit game, especially since you had no choice, in a FUCKING STEALTH/ASSASSIN GAME

...

AC1 was awesome though. Altair was an arrogant asshole prodigy in the beginning, and throughout the course of the game he goes through real character development and learns from his mistakes until he winds up being responsible, even-tempered and wise.
It let the game have an unlock system while still letting Altair be proficient with all those weapons that would otherwise take years of training to master.

what part of the game is this? about 5 hours in

Right near the end. You play as his son after John is killed.

>Able to place ten rounds from the notoriously inaccurate MAC-10 into some huehuehue's left eyeball from 50 yards away
>Cannot land a single shot on the evil second in command and must flush him out by shooting ceiling tiles onto his head

I'm thankful the game was able to end so strongly. That airport shootout was fantastic.

That was the worst case of "oh shit we forgot these characters were supposed to be doing something" I have ever seen

>You play as his son after John is killed.
Oh. Great. At least spoiler that for the next guy

He chose to die. He's John fucking Marston, he could have taken on all those people, no problem. But if he did, then his family would have spent the rest of their lives running from the police. He didn't want them to go through that, so he chose to die to let them have a happy life.

Stop playing gook games. Problem solved.

this sounds like quite the read.

I guess I never thought of it like that. Makes me feel a little bit better.

I swear that a PC port for this was announced but I can't seem to find any news on it.

Hey, guys! What's going on in this thread?

It should've been an army of 10 or so Dark Nuts and other mini bosses. That would've been much more impressive.

>you're not supposed to lose the boss fight

>Zelda's Castle reprise

This is the only cool part about this thing.

>boss is really goddamn hard to beat because it's weakness is some gimmick that you would never think to use

I remember this happening in Kingdom Hearts.
You're supposed to lose to Leon/Cloud but if you manage to beat them you get shitload of xp.

>Dolphins lie

What you just described is the Fallout 3 The Pitt part where they somehow knock you out with pipes. Which should be utter bullshit since I was wearing Winterized T-51 Power Armor.

>Uncharted 4
>Mass Effect 3
So gay

>That part where two guys who should not have been able to reach the area you're in completely incapacitate you with a flashbang

>Destroyer of everything
>man handled by a few guards
>muh unarmed

it stands for health power points you fucking retard

>tfw I game overed 4 times on Gamma in MM3 because I refused to believe there could be an instance of Top Spin not being shit

The failed steals, m8. I steal remember.

>No one getting mad at OP for using a Steven Universe AND Poo in Loo reaction image
I'm proud of you Sup Forums, you've really matured.

WAIT THAT'S WHAT IT IS???????

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

cuck

I was thinking if this was even possible to kill them all. There's no weapon in the game that can hold enough bullets.

>Poo in loo
Don't bully the Connie.
