You mean aside from the EDGE magazine stuff? I think we might be waiting until E3.

The level boss

Nothing since the Edge article, but there will be gameplay footage some time before E3.

...

Before E3? Nice, sooner than I was expecting. It looks like they got a ton done.

...

if its a chaingunner I'm gonna lose my shit

...

...

re-used assets

...

Nice
I didn't knew about the EDGE article, ty bros.

...

...

post all these in an imgur or something.

What's a boss? Is it those cool bad guys that you fight with button prompts?
Or is it those cool enemies that are regular enemies but with a high level of health?

>"Gav, this looks shit"
Sound like these guys know what they're doing.

It's going to be shit anyway

Anyone have the accompanying new screenshots too?

Did Banjo-Tanjo always have one boss per level? It's been so long that I can't remember.

...

...

Yep every level had some sort of boss

>Vendi
I'm getting some weird Pajama Sam vibes from her.

Every time playtonics are mentioned, I think of Tonic Trouble. Which I've never played.

There hasn't been a single half-decent kicksater game to date.

Consider how many millions it took to get Ratchet and Clank looking how it did and how many millions Insomniac spent on developing it, making it good and desiging the levels.

You're expecting a team of 7 on a 3 million dollar budget to deliver something even remotely good are you willfully ignorant or what

Shovel Knight, Freedom Planet, and Shantae?
Also we actually have experienced devs.

>There hasn't been a single half-decent kicksater game to date.

FTL
Shovel Knight
PIllars of Eternity
Wasteland 2

Just saying but it's a team of about 20 now.

And they said here that 20 is about the same size that it was during the N64 days.

>Ratchet and Clank
>good

>All Pixel shit with artstyles that cost 10 times less to make

That just means they're going to run out of money quicker. 3 million dollar budget + a team of 20 pushing for pixar-like open-ended action adventure p[latformer = you get 2 levels out of them at best before the run into a road block and realize they cant afford to make this.

I'm not doubting the the quality of the game per se, I'm just being realistic about their budget, they need another 20 million at the very least to create something that isn't 2 hours long unless the staff are willing to work for peanuts.

>All Pixel shit with artstyles that cost 10 times less to make
I agree, it needs more realistic and more mature graphics for us hardcore adult gamers, right?

This idea that you need millions of dollars and massive teams to make anything is the modern notion they're fighting against.

They were doing this anyway with or without the Kickstarter, they're already dedicated to making this game because that's what they want to od.

It's an N64 team with the million dollar Silicon Graphics workstations replaced by cheap personal computers and existing tools. That's all that's needed.

I understand your point of view on this but think about it like this, a team of 15 made Banjo-Kazooie 18 years ago and while I can't find the budget for it the team consisted of both experienced and inexperienced people. The game turned out really well most people would agree on getting a bigger, grander sequel. This new game, whether or not the Kickstarter was successful or not was going to be made regardless according to the developers (and this is when they had only 7 people on board). The Kickstarter made them successful and upped the budget tremendously, so I'm pretty confident the game will be way better than just a couple levels that are good.

Even if it were just the Kickstarter, that money split twenty ways is a decent salary for what, a year and a half? Certainly liveable anyway.

A jiggy

I'm glad this isn't BK3 solely because it means it gets to be multiplatform.

Whatever it is, I can go to it if I see it.

Didn't you like constructing your own vehicles?

I don't know, but I have to climb it.

While I'm sure Nuts & Bolts wasn't that bad, I still didn't buy it.

Yep.

Targitzan, Old King Coal, Mr Patch, Lord Woo Fak Fak, Terry, Weldar, Chilly Willy and Chilly Billy, Mingy Jongo, Hag 1

Played the game just recently for the first time in years. I finally beat Canary Mary guys. I finally beat both her Cloud Cuckooland races.

>I finally beat both her Cloud Cuckooland races.
That's pretty impressive. I don't think I've ever managed to do it without cheating.

See that mountain? You can climb it.

More like
>See that mountain? You have a reason to climb it.
