That was pretty creepy

Thief is supposed to be a scary game

>a mad house turned an orphanage that got burnt down in a fire

jesus christ

I nearly piss myself at the first part aka where there were still no monsters though.

>playing stalker
>encounter bloodsucker for the first time
>shitting bullets in it's direction
>gun jammed

name a better horror level than revisiting the ishumura in dead space 2. I'll wait because it's absolutely perfect

Fuck that. It was mad house AND orphanage AT THE SAME TIME.

Then it got burned down.

This was great.

There's something about Oblivion dungeons that made me feel uneasy. I think it's the sounds.

All the flood levels in H1/2/3 spooked the fuck out of me as a kid.

I'm supposed to be some badass vampire but I can't be dealin' with no ghosts.

I really liked the Flood encounter in CE. Everything up until that point is fairly slow cover based shooting, then you hit it and you just need to run hard to survive.

These fucking things still scare me to this day.

Jump scares? In MY action RPG?

Witcher 3 had some god-tier atmosphere that genuinely spooked me.

>That one island on the lake in Velen
>Climbing the tower
>Finding out what happened there

Rats can fuck off

didn't mean to quote you, brah

...

> youtube.com/watch?v=NpOVKbM7vlA starts playing

>The rats can open doors

Eh eh eh eehhhhhhh eh

That section in condemned 2 where the mannequins move whenever you aren't looking is pretty fucked

or when the bear is chasing you

Shame the devs completely shit the bed in second half of the game

Obligatory

Why did they never release the third game with your new bird powers?

...

Spree Cemetery from Overlord
Some tombs in AssCreed games
Husk-filled mines from Mass Effect
Certain areas of KOTOR games

Jesus Christ i was always scared shitless of that boo in the castle at the end of the long hallway and never went there.
I just always went quick as fuck around to get downstairs not looking anyway near him

i really hated these guys when i was a kid.

You mean, other than the bird power's is what completely fucked the game into shitty-ville?

And then they give the flood guns so you can go back to cover'n'shoot.

>Certain areas of KOTOR games
>That first fight against Sion on Korriban
Holy shit was i scared after that fight and you had to run away.
The whole time i kept looking behind me checking if he's going after me til i reached the ship and was off that fucking planet

I wanted to scream and blow peoples heads off.

>that first encounter with Muffet

FUUUUUUCK YOU PIECE OF SHIT FUCKING DIE, thank GOD there is explosive barrels EVERYWHERE so i can BURN YOU shaky HAIRY FUCKS

That village of Lovecraftian-worshipping cultists deep in the woods was creepy as hell

>city guards mention that the Legion had to burn the whole town to the ground years ago
>every single townsfolk tells you you shouldn't be there and to fuck off
>a villager always follows you around
>cultists attack you in the middle of the night if you sleep at the inn
>you can hear the rumblings of "The Deep Ones" in the tunnels under the town, but you never see them

>Some tombs in AssCreed games

Holy shit I put 300 hours into that game and I never knew about this. Guess I'm crackin it back open.

What mission was this?

When you turn around and all of sudden see one of these fucks slapping their face on your screen

I feel like the Synths are one of the only cool things in FO4.

Do what I did, put this on in the background:

youtube.com/watch?v=HNDdUK9X2RE

SWAT 4 had the Children of Tarrone tenement and the Fairfax Residence. Fucking great segments.

>the house was also fucking alive and sentient and knew you were there
>THAT FUCKING ENDING

Robbing the Cradle was an amazing mission holy shit

>anything dead space related but early/midgame in dead space 1

>scary

Isn't it past bedtime for you?

"DON'T TURN AROUND"

>not ghouls

cmon son

That's pretty damn cool.

Can I play witcher 2 and 3 fine if I thought 1 was an immense bore and gave up playing it twice?

...

Ghouls got me a couple of times, I will admit. Full on "Oh FUCK that's a ghoul" got me.

Yes, you can jump straight to 3 if you like.

Sweet.

Be polite to the Argonian lass in Chorrol who introduces herself to you.

A couple days later she'll disappear while on her usual trading route and her distraught mother will seek you out in the streets of Chorrol. She owns a general goods store. Her daughter's name is Dar-Ma

THESE FUCKING THINGS GAVE ME PTSD

I cannot do water levels in FPS anymore. No fucking more.

wow

I might actually be able to get through the hotel now

thanks user

UH OHHH

>these feels
i still had fun with the fable series, despite its shortcomings

This whole add-on was pretty fucking creepy.

I find the second part without the sound very disturbing for some reason

Shit's 1000 times more spine-chilling when you realize that thing was lurking beneath you everytime you accidentally fell into the water.

It's like that same feeling of jumping into open water IRL knowing that there could easily be gargantuan creatures directly under your position.

Pic related.

...

More games need objective pop ups that are just freaking out at the current circumstances.

MY ACTUAL NIGGER

>Play Pumpkin FUCKING Hill for the first time.

>Fly to the top of Church Mountain.

>One of these fucks Pops out of a grave shaking my controller and screaming at the screen.

>Another tiny one floating, unblinking, arms out and looking into my SOUL. Flying at me picking up speed.

>ThisAintaSceneItsStraightToTheMenuScreen.jpg

I got my uncle to beat every Knuckles level and pyramid level past that when I was little. I'm forever triggered by these little faggots.

That mission took me off-guard. I didn't know what I was in for when I played it in the dark.

>this entire level

FUCKKKKKKK

>Flailing about trying to hold on as he dives
>Eventually let go and go back to the surface
>Turn camera down
>See nothing but his eyes staring right back as he comes up

...

This website is for 18 and over, you retard.

These still get me too.

The last time I played SA2 I had to do Death Chamber over the course of like a week using save states because I couldn't handle more than a minute of that level at a time.

> eyes

All of the colossi had such soul-piercing eyes.

> mfw that fight

These things arouse me.

I thought the implication there was supposed to be that Amnesia is not a scary game.

...

...

fuck these guys

The screaming in Irithyll Dungeon. Jesus fuck.

youtube.com/watch?v=0YeeVhz_iXw

Those death screens were way more creepy then any colossus battle could have ever been...

The first play-through of this was pretty spooky, but after that it's not so bad

>lilking undertale garbage

Did you steal the baby

I hated it on my first playthrough and it ended up my favourite DLC on the second, reverse happened with Old World Blues

Dude W1 is great, where did you stop ?

My nigga. The first actual unnerving thing in a video game for me as a kid.

>that fucking bear from Chibi Robo

Chapter 2 was shit so most people stopped there, chapter 3 was alright and it didn't get great until Murky Waters

Stalker is supposed to be scary and unnerving.

>All these people that can't read the fucking title

Holy shit, I knew Sup Forums was full of dumbasses but this is a whole new level.

>one day a fire started
>no one knows how

>one of the mental patients was totally crazy about fire

Im not the only one? Holy shit, i was such a puss, even get a method to not look the boo and go downstairs

...

Just played through F2 with my wife.
Loved this part, she looked like she wanted to cry

Fable 2 is best fable

I know nobody likes the new Thief but the mechanical puppet house was pretty creepy. Especially when that one puppet turns its face to you without warning.

Did her son also tear up a little?

>non-scary
the forest temple?
the well?
shadow temple?
I can recall a surprising amount of that game being creepy

wasn't so scary as it was aggravating imo.
Took me a few tries
I could see the unknown being scary, but for me
it had the opposite effect. There's not really anything there to be scared of

oh shit that guy got fucking REKT m8

No not really, her boyfriend had to hold my wife though.

>that house with dead child on the bed surrounded by knight armors
>that note next to the bed about getting chased by those knigt armors slenderman style

fuck me fable 2 was the darkest part of the whole trilogy

what game is this?

>Scary moments from non-scary games
>All theses survival-horroresque games

shit
