I think I'm running out of PC games I want.
Not enough interesting console ports.
>Buying games
kek
every game free for 30 seconds
Torrents offer an even better bargain, no reason to bother with these sales.
not announced, people have to be on the store pages to see it
Too lazy to figure out how games over 500 MB works. Small games are download and play, big games wants the CD or some other weird shit.
>tfw will never relive the 2010 and 2011 sales again
>tfw only games I want to get will probably not even be discounted or just go down by 25% because Valve hates us
I should probably start putting together recs for what games people should buy on sale, since fags ask every sale.
Cant wait for ubisoft games (missing ac4 and BG&E) to be 50% one day, 75% another and then pulled 5 days early from the sale
Sure, I mite pick up gtav
Sale prices are determined by the publisher not Valve. The only thing Valve can be blamed for is not offering publishers to option of flash sales, because Valve is dumb.
this, what exactly are people buying during steam sales. Only game I bought was csgo because it waas like $3, every thing else is on sale for 10-20 bucks, I want them all to be $5 or I aint buying shit, fuck gayass indies for 10 cents
you can just pirate games for free all year long.
I don't want scurvy, fag.
>GTAV is on 20% sale
>they also change the game to feature some sort of DLC
>same price as before discount
holy shit
>mfw that bullshit they tried pulling last year during the summer sale where they changed the price of GTA 5 to say it was a discount
Also why did they remove GTA 1 and 2 from the complete bundle?
Ready.
>game goes on sale
>only 10% off
>publishers/devs act like it's 90% off
>tfw SiN Episodes: Emergence will never go on sale
Factorio isn't going on sale any time soon, the devs said so. I still recommend getting it though.
pretty much
>pcmasterrace cucks think it's teh best thing ever, why aren't these games like $5 each, 50% isn't fucking helping, I want 80% at least
Already got it and enjoying it but I'm not paying €20 for literal pixels.
>no summer game
Are you 12?
Summer sale will be fun, but I will be avoiding most of the threads on Sup Forums. Literally every sale we get diapers saying how it's the worst sale ever, despite the fact the sales are the same shit every time except with new games thrown in the mix.
It was always my friends who sat up new games for me at LAN parties back in high school.
>sale has cards AGAIN
>they're all literally worthless after about 10 minutes of the sale starting
>there are people in this thread who don't remember when Steam sales were events with achievements and prizes and actual fun
I'll be surprised if Salt & Sanctuary goes on a bigger sale than its release window. It's pretty good though.
Forward to the Sky was on sale during the anime sale and also the Humble Spring Sale. Probably will be less than four dollarydoos.
If you're lucky Dragon's Dogma might drop to $20.
If S&S goes on sale at all, I expect it'll be the same as release, or maybe 25% off.
I think Valve has about an order of magnitude less volume on community market transactions since adding the smartphone requirement.
fuck that requirement. I'm a poorfag, and I don't have a fucking phone to begin with.
>got a big pile of cards
>see a dirt cheap game that seems fun
>haha, time for free game
>go to market to sell all cards
>sure thing, user
>you'll have the money in two weeks time :^)
What the fuck happened to the market? You used to be able to sell cards instantaneously.
people who didn't know how to trade kept complaining to valve about their lost shit, so their solution was to destroy trading unless you have your account synced with a mobile device
honestly it's better this way so retards can't flood the market with cheap cards
I don't get why everyone is so butthurt about such a basic feature
>how is getting your money 14 days late a problem?
I can understand it being annoying if you don't have a smart phone but it's just so easy to confirm your listings that I just can't see anyone finding it inconvenient if they do
And if you don't then PC gaming probably isn't the hobby for you f a m
Valve introduced a class system to trading. You are shitty nigger underclass. I get to offer you 30% of your items value and you accept it because you are desperate and poor.
>The only thing Valve can be blamed for is not offering publishers to option of flash sales
Thank the idiots abusing the refund system for that one phamilia
Tomorrow's my birthday and I can't think of anything else to buy.
Probably going to waste too much money for games that I will only play 5 years later, when they been on few 1$ bundles already.
>artificial scarcity is good guys
Josie is cute, CUTE!
when you're the one selling, yeah
My 財布 is ready.
One example I can think of is the fallout franchise. As late as 2013, they were dipping down to 75% off. For the past 3 years, they haven't dropped below 66% off.
I mean, I get why there is pressure to change the daily and flash sales so people don't buy a game early and lose out but the votes were fun.
A long good sale with no interaction is no where near as fun.
people that get mad they bought a game that went on a flash sale should just get b&
Valve literally created a underprivileged group that I can easily oppress for my own gain. It is very, very good 4me.
Valve could negotiate prices. They don't because they know their audience will buy anything without comparing prices.
Kind of sitting on the fence with Duskers. Looks like it's nice but also looks like it could get kind of boring pretty quick.
i still have tons of game's i need to finish.. damnit
>still have a whole bunch of unplayed games
Probably not going to buy anything.
>Elite Dangerous
Wouldn't advise it. Gets old fast.
gona finally just buy all the morrowshit
>Dragon's Dogma
It's a great a gme, but don't spend mor ethan 5$ on, because it is EXTREMELY short. Like, ONE Oblivion quest short.
Amazing atmosphere and gameplay, though.
retard, bait or both?
What the fuck is this shit? Delete this post right now.
I just go a new job Gabe, leave my wallet alone!
Valve isn't going to play hardball with publishers, to keep them from going the route of EA.
30% from those 4.3M GTA V units is too valuable.
you know we have daily sales. Weekly. 2 weekly sales. and random event sales. What else do you want? Also we don't have those sorts of sales is for the returns.
>Elite Dangerous
59.99 expansion to land on empty planets with fuck all to do
I wonder how many people missed the free L4D2 in the 2013 christmas due to huge traffic? I was lucky to check my wishlist just when the game went free so I got it downloaded easily.
That's so not true its not even FUCKING FUNNY
I'm basically just waiting on a few AAAs that I've been watching to go on sale.
Wolfenstein: TNO was like 8 bucks at Christmas
It'll be around that price again right?
do you think doom will be anymore than 10% off?
>tfw got the sonic complete pack for $5 on glitch a few years ago
>tfw realized every sonic game except ASR Transformed is actually irredeemable trash
Wolfenstein TNO seems to go regularly on sale now, so it will probably go on sale this summer. I think the game was awesome. Doom might go on a formal sale of 5%-10% but probably not more than that.
I've had enough of Steam.
I don't plan on buying anything else through it.
The 2d sonic games were good games.
>
>5%-10% on D44M
Huh seriously? I expect something like 30% off, see Fallout 4 on sale.
I was just speculating. Keep in mind that FO4 was considered a disappointment by many people, unlike DOOM. That might affect the likeliness of a sale.
>Darkest Dungeon goes on sale
>15% off
>mfw all the unplayed indieshit in my Steam account
I just don't care about these sales anymore.
>max discount day one
huh? they dealt with that fluctuating price bullshit?
Shit you are right.
In that case it may not be worth waiting 3 weeks for a measly 10% off. I want to play it so bad.
can't wait
there was a site i just got a DOOM key from for a flat $40 with some bullshit MP dlc.
at the absolute best you'll get that on steam for $30 during the summer sale, if not something worse than what i just paid.
i just want GTAV to go under $30. I refuse to repurchase a game for $60 fucking USD.
Let's see:
>Arkham Knight Season Pass
>DMC4SE costumes for Lady and Trish
>Farcry 4
>GTAV
Only things I really want that I'm expecting a notable discount on.
GTA V has been 50% off on multiple sites. Bought it for 30 bucks last year. It's probably even cheaper with hong kong resellers.
Steam prices are a joke.
