TATSU
I've never been as disappointed with a game than I was with Xenoblade X.
I dropped it at 15 hours. Biggest buyers remorse ever, and I usually find the good in most games.
Same. But I managed to put 40 hours into it before completely losing interest in it. The combat just doesnt make having a mech fun either. I was pretty hyped about the game. even bought the special edition sadly which ended up being a pice of shit bundle in terms of quality
The game gets infinitely more fun if you forget the warp function exists. Still playing it past end game now, working on getting through Phog's affinity missions. They really fucked up the story with having you basically tied to Elma and Lin 90% of the time. And also dropping Lao, who did nothing wrong.
I'd honestly like it a bit more if tatsu and his family were completely removed from the game. Lin and elma are fine I guess.. Wasnt expecting much of a story anyway
Sucks to be you. I got 100+ hours into it. Still haven't finished it. I think its a great game.
Zooming past an enemy in the Skell car form and having the enemy, now 50 metres away, swipe at you, hit and destroy your Skell is fucking annoying.
Xenoblade X would have been so much cooler if they'd kept everything good about it: the interesting huge world, the characters, the quests etc. but replaced the MMO combat with a better system. Either monster hunter alike for the melee focus, or making it a cool action TPS like Lost Planet with the ability to command your team.
Yeah the mmo combat is annoying. Reminds me of my White Knight Chronicles playthrough, atleast that didnt have level spikes in random areas you need to run through
I wish it was more like the first Xenoblade
Such a disappointment in story, mech combat is boring shit, characters are awful, and if you want to craft basically anything it seems you need to farm to hell, just to name a few things.
Seriously, its a friggin single player game, why would they even make you farm that much?
The random high level creatures in areas fucked me over so much in X
Im pretty pissed to have my mech destroyed in such a way really. Makes me not want to travel at all with combat like that
They gave so many of the big enemies ranged attacks that they can use to hit you a mile away right through a cliff or wall, and I barely even see whatever tiny animation the attack has that hit me.
>World is vibrant with different flora and fauna
>some monsters hang around in packs and show different behaviours
>it's a dangerous as fuck planet that has a planet destroying dragon, a monster that can read minds, giant dinosaurs, etc
Did you jump into the game expecting some kind of picnic or a walk in the park?
Dont forget to include that they dont need to physically hit you with their claws and teeth to kill you from a few meters away
When the giant monster doesn't need to get in your grill to actually do damage, it can be difficult to tell where the hell you're taking fire from. Especially annoying when you've run away, the monster is still aggro and is attacking you from a distance (or through a fucking wall).
Nice strawman faggot.
Sounds like you have more of a problem with MMO style combat than with the monsters being high level like you were just complaining about.
Next time you want to complain about something think it through and you won't make a fool of yourself again.
Its the combination of the two things you dolt
dont forget to sheathe your katana
The monsters fuck off after like 20 seconds
No, it's the one and not the other. Now that you've been proven wrong you're just saving face.
Same. Didn't live up to the first one on Wii. I felt so disappointed moving from that to this.
Never had this problem with the mech, what kind of monster are you running into? Most non-boss monster won't attack you unless you attack them first.
Whatever helps you sleep at night boy
Maybe you should pay attention to your surroundings little faggot
>He doesn't have a Ares to get rid of any threat not a super boss
Lmfao get good
Some enemies only attack when attacked, however many enemies attack on sight or by proximity.
This can all be looked up in the in-game menu.
Well, yes. See The randomly high level creatures would be more bearable in a system where running away and dodging attacks was viable.
>He wasted his resources on an Ares instead of getting a good 60 frame
Ha ha ha ha ha
Jesus christ user, there's plenty of things to complain about, and you complain about your missing spatial awareness? Don't blame the game for not planning your route better. I run around in Sylvalum and Cauldros around level 20 exploring, you have really no excuse in a skell.
it's your own fault for driving your fancy mech through Sylvalum
>Most non-boss monster won't attack you unless you attack them first.
Thats very wrong
I know that, but some of these sound like shills.
>50 meters
No way unless you are close to the no fun police (xe-dom) in sylvalum. It your own fault tbqh.
After he washed up on the beach, I was certain there'd be a post-game sidequest to get Lao back on the team.
Needless to say I was disappointed.
I'd love to start it but I'm still on the first game. In fact I'm on the last boss but he wipes the floor with me and I'm too lazy to grind up a couple levels.
Don't mind me...
>I know that
You do now, and you should thank me.
>implying
I have over 200 hours in the game :^)
I tried going for it in the Ares 90. At that point I had equipped a nullify ether reflect, so I was ready to wreck it. Unfortunately, I thought it only reflected ether attacks, and proceeded to try and finish it off with the physical attack.
That said, the first time I found it I swam out to it. I had to poke the obvious trap. Got away with it as well.
>200 hours in the game
>doesn't know about enemy aggro types or the in-game help menu
Riiiight user, sure you did.
b-but he didn't even create a strawman argument. Do you know what that even means?
>implying I didn't know even though I never stated that
>ask for which monster you guys running into, and still don't get a response which exact monster it is.
OK senpai.
It's a great game. I had fun until 60 hours, then after I beat I got tired. It's the same shit again.
Didn't even bother with farming and affinity missions.
>there is actually a star called Mira in the Cetus constellation
>Cetus translates to whale
>there is another star in the same constellation that's called Baten Kaitos
>mfw when the giant moon on Mira is a fucking Baten Kaitos reference
Takahashi can't keep getting away with this
>Thinking I'm the other guy
I enlighten your ignorant ass by providing you with apparently much needed information.
Again, you should thank me. I just saved your ass from trying to make friends Tersqual who you would have believed to be friendly and harmless.
Why do the face models look better in xeno for wii? Christ they messed up with X
Yeah, I cleared it, tried some of the post-game then just stopped.
I can't see myself going back to replay it since it'd just be going through the motions again
git gud
>I charge blindly in a hostile world knowing that all flying ennemies are past-skell so they will destroy my shit in 2 hits
this game has an absurd amount of flaws and problems, but this isn't one
All I want to know is how the fuck all of these insane Blade members who go around killing and threatening people aren't being removed from the force and locked up.
>He doesn't have both
What's it like being a cuck?
>i said most
>you being retarded read it as all
U okay fag? I don't think you even own the game, let alone own beaten it.
I honestly didn't realize it was a trap and just thought it was part of the environment
Got hard bodied
>Got fucking rekt
>Having a hissy
Calm down kid, you're going to hurt yourself.
stay out of their line of site and don't get too close then, faggot.
...
game logic
Even with level 30 skells you should be able to escape from a Xe-Dom before it breaks one of them
