Enjoy weapon skins.

That's about it.

I think I'll just download stuff to improve settlements.
I can't believe we get such a small limit of 2gb. Really took away the excitement for mods. I need to get myself a damn gaming PC

Any good ones out yet?

Haven't checked in awhile. Here is a list
mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/fallout4/view-all?platform=XB1

I wouldn't be excited. Sounds like the best that's going to happen is specific gameplay tweaks. All the good mods will be locked away. Can't say it wasn't predictable though.

The mod that replaces the resumed dialogue choices with the full lines was ported to One today. That's a must have.

As long as we get the "remove shitty weapon design" mod, I'll be peachy.

Thanks user.

>whos excited for PC features to be released months later?
Uhhh... OP? You dumb as fuck.

Can I fuck female death claws yet?

So it would be like the older fallout games dialog options?

Yup, although Bethesda really cheaped out on the dialogue for this game so in most conversations you just get 4 ways of saying the same thing.

>playing bethesda games on a console
>playing games on consoles

Holy shit that is pathetic. Damn might just go replay new Vegas for my damn 360 instead

isn't it tomorrow.

That seems like a fairly decent lineup of mods, actually.

>I can't believe we get such a small limit of 2gb

Why not? Consoles already have limited room to work with, when it comes to newer games at least.

The 31st. Maybe midnight then? I just want a reason to keep playing. I haven't bought any dlc yet either it seems so expensive and I haven't heard anything good about far harbor

>that picture

I have a damn 2tb hard drive. Thought if it was limited it wouldn't be o ly 2gb.jesus

Nobody cares about or even asked you reply to this thread you PC elitist faggot.

I fucking get it. PC is generally better. I can't afford a nice one at this time in my life so i settle for consoles.

do that. I've played through fallout 4 multiple times to see if it would grow on me and it is simply incapable of doing so. Meanwhile I've been replaying New Vegas GOTY and it's reminding me why it's one of my favorite games of all time. So good.

60fps mod when?

>some games alone can take up 50gb
>DLCs only add to this
>"lol here's 2 gigs to use for mods faggot"

You can get Xbones and PS4s that hold as much storage as a PC, we shouldn't be limited to such a small amount of space.

>achievements disabled with mods

oh...

It's not hard drive space they have to worry about.

I'd imagine the actual storage space isn't the issue. The limit is probably placed there as a barrier so console people don't accidentally crash their shit with too many conflicts or something similar to that effect.

Really?

ffs, achievements on the PC used to be disabled when you used the console. For some reason in Fallout 4, they don't get disabled.
Todd Howard must be disabled.

>people actually still expect mods on consoles to work well

They can't even support script extenders for fucks sake.

>caring about cheevos

Should of expected some sort of limitation to mods on consoles.

cherry picking at its finest

There are plenty of examples. Try actually playing the game.

Yeah good luck mate. It'll be a miracle if your next-gen wonderbox doesn't burst into flames.

>only 2gb limit for mods.

They should just let us risk it ourselves. Wonder why they went with such a small limit.

...

Why would you want over 2gb anyways? It's not like xbone can handle HD textures anyway

Maybe this is starting at 2gbs but will increase as they see how far you could push mods on consoles. There not saying it's locked at 2gbs.

> entirely different responses to say a general meaning

This is why you always call people out on cherry picking because usually it's the only image they have and any others they try to quickly scramble for aren't nearly as convincing

Because consoles themselves can't handle much beyond new weapon or model skins. It's in place to keep people from uploading HD textures that no console can run and wasting everyone's time.

Already got killable children dialogue and pew pew lasers lined up

Can you read? They're all saying the same thing.

Sounds like the limit is there to prevent hitting the 5GB memory ceiling the xboner has for games.

I mean the xboner is getting a torrent client soon, space clearly isn't an issue

Don't respond to bethshills.

Eh, one of those is clearly a hostile rejection and another is considering the possibility, with the third being a fairly neutral response.

But let's be honest, in previous games it would just be a yes or no response, like with Fisto. When he flirts with you you can let him peg you or sent him to the bar.

most likely since adding excessive mods can extend load times and the like as well, and hinder overall performance.

Imagine someone installing 10gb of enhanced texture mods, new character/weapon/armor models, etc, but trying to run it off a console, whereas with a PC you can give it more power to handle the bloat

Liability issues, I think add to this, same with the reason for no sex or nudity mods.

>>Some little shit installs a nude mod on consoles, plus a bunch of other mods
>>Parents catch him, console gets fucked up because of mods
>>Parents sue Sony and Bethesda.

>No F4SE library
No, thanks Betheshit.

>using a radiant quest turn dialog as proof.

Hey look I can do that too

>Yes
>No
>Persuade for more caps

Oh wait you think I was talking about Fallout 4? I was actually talking about New Vegas

Will anybody make quest mods a thing?

I don't really care about skins apart from ghouls.

There are already quest mods

>some people call this game an """"RPG""""

(X) Doubt

For xbone, I'm a cuck I know...

:^)

>doesn't give an illusion of having more choices than you actually have
>tells you exactly what your character is going to say without needing mods

Still the better game desu

>Having multiple ways to agree is bad
>Every character should have the same personality.

Rated M for Mature.

Companies only have balls when it comes to fucking people.

If some bitch/dickhead complains little jimmy saw tits then should be sued.

>little Timmy downloads 20 completely incompatible mods from the easily accessible mod page and bricks the console
>his mom sues Microsoft, Sony, Bethesda and Todd Howard
I doubt anyone wants to risk something like this happening

Well technically the different options are there for companion affinity. Being cocky about how you took down those Raiders is for making Strong and other companions like you more while the neutral and helpful option is more for Preston, so they do serve their purpose since companions are a lot more in-depth than they were in 3 and New Vegas

I'd like to know also. I'm also XB1 cuckold

Actually, full frontal nudity bumps it up to AO. No one wants to risk that ever since Hot Coffee.

Make sure each is compatible beforehand. Hell they put out glitchy games day one and let people find the problems for them, quality assurance used to be a thing.

doubt what, the memory ceiling or the torrent client?

The memory ceiling is there. close to 5GB of memory is dedicated to video games, 500MB to the hypervisor (in a sense, the OS manager), and 2.5GB dedicated to windows applications (were previously windows 8/8.1 apps, now they're UWP).
zdnet.com/article/microsofts-xbox-one-whats-windows-got-to-do-with-it/

Memory can be stretched to one VM or the other depending on the situation.

For the torrent client, Torrex (a windows phone/desktop UWP torrent client) is possible and the creator wants to go with it.

windowscentral.com/want-see-bittorrent-client-torrex-xbox-one-you-can-now-pledge-your-support

Since it's perfectly inline with the Windows Store terms, theres no problem with it being on the xbox one.

I was talking about Xbox there are already a few quest mods on Beth site

that's terrible and funny

How large do you think the average pc mod is?

Hint - It's far less than 2Gb

>consoles can't use script extenders
Dead on arrival.

You do realize that consolefags believe the IT JUST WORKS! meme right? They're not used to having to check if things are compatible.

I don't understand the point of having a torrent client on the Bone. Unless microsoft is going to start distributing their products through p2p rather than hosting the files themselves.

Hot coffee was only if they modded ps2 and shit even then it was just clothed character models.

Who am I kidding, the ratings board was created because of Night Trap and MK and that shit is cheesy as fuck.

I'm done...

>only one mod at a time goy

Who makes console mods?

How many people have xbone dev units?

Can't they just make an "allow more than 2gb" mod?

The game uses the same engine that skyrim uses and if you pump enough mods into skyrim the entire fucking thing starts chugging because papyrus or whatever handles the scripts just can't keep up. I imagine that's the issue they're trying to mitigate here.

AKCHUALLY
it was as simple as as a gameshark code on ps2 and xbox, and a mod on pc.

>modders would have to work extra hard to modify a game that already offers less content than New Vegas

it's dead

The torrent client in question is the one I use on my windows phone. It works good and it has a built in media player. Edge for xboner is getting external app link support soon, so magnet URLs from any page will work fine.

Granted I'm more interested in emulators right now. I've got a Gameboy advance emulator in the works with the dev center tools they opened up.

True, I've been spoiled because I've been a cuck my whole life but quality assurance exists because of shit like this.

Even Mario maker has you beat the level before it's accepted, apples and oranges I know.

...

It's basically unreal 3 all over again.

I was too lazy to give a fuck back then to investigate so my opinion means nothing.

You're a fucking retard
cipscis.com/skyrim/tutorials/beginners.aspx

how do you usually replay NV? I'm gonna go for another run and can't decide which mods to use this time

>consolefriends excited for mods
>think they will get all the beefy bethesdagame graphic overhauls
>think they will get all the new scripts, mechanics and gameplay changing stuff
>think they will get all this crazy, game-changing content just like PC
>Don't understand why their console, which is weaker than a lot of medium range PCs, can't store or handle a lot of the bigger, beefier mods for their game

how do you be so unaware of how anything works

How big are these mods on average anyway?

>Still no proper porn mods
Whats taking them so long?

It's because consoles have such shit memory is the issue.

I can't fucking believe this shit Bethesda is pulling. First we're getting told that the construction kit won't be available for us (for no apperent reason since Halo and Doom have mapmaking, there's no reason to not release the modding tools on consoles), then we're getting told we can't download all mods because there's some "scripting" involved that can't be duplicated (again bullshit since a lot of games use scripts, CoD have scripted events all the fucking time), then we're getting told we can only download 2 gig of mods despite having waaaay much more on our harddrives.

Fuck Todd the sweet little lies meme was real I should have listened!!!

1.9 gigs

reminder that even morrowind on the og xbox could run mods

Policing mods and making sure they are compatible seems pointless and almost impossible. Maybe community testing, but that's quite jewish. And that still doesn't stop little Timmy from installing 30 compatible mods that could potentially brick his console.
They'd have to make the modding harder, which is stupid. Or plaster warnings all over the mod page, but then you'll have people bitching about how they even dare put something in their consoles that can potentially fuck them up.

PC gets away with it because you have to go out of your way to download and install mods, it's completely unregulated by the developer/publisher and hosted on third party sites. So when you destroy your save, game or maybe even the whole PC because you downloaded some STALKER soupmod, you can't blame anyone but yourself.

I love this pasta. Can I save it?

>Consoleshits

>2GB limit

I agree with you, but there's very little chance the console will brick if little Timmy mucks about and installs 200 mods. At worst the game install will be fubar.

These mods do not have lower level access at all, they're just additional package loaded on with the main game.
