Almost every arcade has a few pachinko machines and then there's entire buildings dedicated to pachinko machines and they even have dedicated pachinko areas in casinos. It's the Japanese equivalent of your mom sitting around playing Solitaire on the computer all day except in Japan you pay to play it for hours on end with the extremely small chance that you win big. Salarymen will literally spend like 75% of their time not working playing pachinko.
