Is your anus prepared?
The Elder Scrolls VI, set in Hammerfell, is due to be unveiled at Bethesda's E3 conference.
Is your anus prepared?
No way. They haven't milked Fallout4 long enough.
i like deserts in vidya
I can't wait to play another buggy mess on an outdated engine.
>it's gonna look like Skyrim with ENB mod
too bad it's gonna be shit.
their games become overly simplifed and dumbed down, and this is coming from an elder scrolls fan.
>not skyrim 2
liar
If it's "unveiled" it's just gonna be some dramatic music over a logo. I'm sure Bethesda is already working on the next big thing, but until FO4 wraps up 100%, there won't be any substantial information on the title.
Yes.
No.
Sarcastic.
Definitely.
It already has 3 DLCs released.
How was Oblivion dumbed down from Morrowind? How was Skyrim dumbed down from Oblivion?
And they're all fucking forgettable, when the hell are we going to just one really big DLC like Shivering Isles instead of small chunks again?
I'm gonna need a source
Honestly though I can't wait to see what new ways they'll find of making tes even worse, are they gonna make the skill tree physical combat/magic/other things with no options within each? Are they gonna try to ditch quests for some brand new "living, breathing world" technology? I'm really excited.
Oblivion had a third less skills than morrowind, skyrim got rid of attributes entirely. Are you serious?
When has Bethesda released DLC that big in the past years? They stopped doing that.
WE
BGS is split into two teams. They updated the engine for next gen consoles, then one team got to work on Fallout 4 and the other TES VI. TES is their flagship IP and their biggest moneymaker, so there is no doubt they are developing it. Work on it began after the Dragonborn DLC, so it is well overdue.
They will reveal the name and logo as someone else ITT said, with "coming Fall 2017" or something. They must be using this conference for a major announcement; Fallout DLC and Dishonored 2 will feature but are not enough to warrant an entire conference. They saw how much hype the E3 reveal of Fallout created, I think they will use this method again.
I don't need to prepare my anus since I'm not letting Todd "The Lying Jew" Howard anywhere near it.
>Implying I'm buying Oblivion with guns with swords with guns with swords.
No, they won't show anything.
Fallout 4 only came out 7 months ago. Bethesda usually takes 3-4 years between releases and they like to tease their new game within a relatively short period before its release. Remember that they showed off Fallout 4 during last summer, then they released it in the Fall.
WE WUZ JARLS N SHIET
WE WUZ JARLS BAYBAY
Bethesda's been trying to play them up as Arabians to try and avoid the whole "literal nigger race". If we got a Redguard game in this day and age, you can bet your ass they'll do everything they can to distance the marketed image from African American culture.
AKAVIR
>Skyrim with guns with swords
I'm not all that interested.
Yyyyeeaahh... gonna need that source, bruv...
It's going to suck even worse than skyrim and oblivion together.
So... no, I'm not ready for this shit.
I think that TES 6 should have Hammerfel and High Rock in it, High Rock isn't big enough for its own game and people are probably going to want to see something other than a massive desert, as well Hammerfel just isn't really dense enough on its own
Deserts are boring and uninteresting.
>Oh look a big giant brown rock
>brown rocks everywhere
>a creek with more brown rocks.
gun swords
Would be cool to see a desert setting but knowing modern bethesda that game will be so shallow and repetitive that it will get boring at around 20 hours.
New Vegas 2?
You've perfectly described Fallout NV but people seemed to like that
>hammerfell
>Not high rock
>Not elswyre/valenwood
into the trash it goes
Also
>Developed by Bethesda
Too early. They won't unveil shit for at least another year. Besides
>Hammerfell
Don't be silly, user. Bethesda wants to make money.
>Bethesda begins their presentation
>Elder Scrolls VI: Hammerfell
>Demo starts and the player engages in dialogue with an NPC
>Player character is voiced
>Fallout 4 style dialogue interface pops up
You reaction?
I agree. I think most people that believe deserts are awesome see one piece of concept art with giant worms exploding everywhere and the horizon full of ruins and don't really think about anything outside of that frame.
A desert is basically a brown ocean of sand. Most of it is a featureless (caveless too, no endless draugr dungeons) wasteland without anything to interact with. A pure desert is probably the worst place to ever set a game.
Nevada isn't a desert. It's just shitty. And NV was set in the single city of New Vegas, not a vast desert with towns set 20 minutes apart from one another.
Objective fact: new Vegas has more encampments and marked locations than fallout 3 and has a higher density of marked locations than fallout 3
Anyone who likes 3 over NV and criticizes NV for being barren is objectively wrong and mildly retarded
...
OBLIVION II
They really wrote themselves into a corner with that one
Muslim nigger invaders, how far back were they created that they didn't see what would happen?
Please no.
I love desert settings.
I'd be happy just to wander around in it. But since it's bethesda it'd probably be boring as shit and just full off le bandit camps that attack on sight.
With their last game you retard, Skyrim. 2 large expansions and a smaller one. Far Harbor is the first large expansion for FO4 and they will probably have one more with a few more smaller dlcs in between.
Another shit Bethesda game I will buy and never play.
Fuck.
>it's gonna look like Fallout 4
fix'd
Seeing how shitty Skyrim's dialogue options were even with a silent protagonist, it wouldn't be much of a downgrade.
>Its an expansion for Elder Scrolls Online
>source: my ass
Elder Scrolls 6 should take place in Valenwood & Elseweyr combined.
Since Todd completely removed the medium armor class ("Nobody uses medium armor") maybe he'll do like Fable 2 and make armor COMPLETELY cosmetic. ("Everybody exclusively wears Daedric armor anyway")
then you can be Swiggity Swoog the Redguard who was imprisoned for an unspecific crime (why is every fucking TES character start as an Imperial prisoner?) and then you could be running around in a sandpeople ninja burqa or daedric armor or shit wear some Power Armor we don't even care we know you'll mod that texture in anyway.
No, it isn't. They're still working on the DLC for Fallout 4. What makes you think they're even close to releasing TES VI? I ask that knowing full-well that you aren't serious. TES VI will be developed by the main studio and will be revealed in a few years.
Good plan. Reuse desert assets from Fallout 4 and make tons of money.
They should just use the system from Fallout 3 without the time freezing. That system worked better than both Oblivion's and Fallout 4's.
And the number of armor pieces.
>implying the main team would be working on DLC
They have interns for that shit m8
I fuckin love a good desert.
Yeah, I'm sure the interns made Far Harbor.
>this much variety
More like:
Yes
Definitely
Reluctant yes
Noted in journal
>my body when
Do they know how much they fucked up? I'm sure they've gotten expensive amounts of hate mail.
>tfw they announce Vvanderfell
It's gonna be good faggot.
can't wait for more-
>Vast as an Ocean, Deep as a Puddle world and story
>recycled areas
>DRAUGRS or their equivalent
If you actually played you wouldn't think it's that unlikely.
I'd be truly disgusted. the voice acting in 4 has the substantial negative conququence of making every playthrough feel too samey. The origin has a similar problem. I liked how open New Vegas was about your character's origins and actions.
Nigga Vvardenfell is literally an inhospitable wasteland since Vivec cucked the island by crashing its moon into the volcano, causing it to erupt.
I really hope not. There's no way a new Elder Scrolls is going to be good after seeing what Fallout 4 was like, and all it will do is take modders away from Skyrim, Oblivion, and Morrowind.
Skyrim which has just finally started being a decent game with mods. Skyrim mods themselves have come a long way and for a new TES game to come out would just kill it all. I'd rather not see a new TES for a decade to be honest.
real question is whether or not they would have unique voices for all races
but i'd still be mad because im pretty sure voiced protag. made fallout 4 have like 5 sidequests and millions of repeating quests.
They should honestly put a new director in charge, and a new writer
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIRE EMIL
HE'S A FUCKING HACK
A HACK
>yfw this turns out to be true
>yfw they fuck up how hammerfell is because bethesda cannot into lore
>yfw just like skyrim, the redguards are voiced by white dudes for some fucking retarded reason
It will be a port of the movie idocracy with swords
Motherfucker i don't recall the Red Mountain erupting in the middle of the second era.
I would rather it be this like a million times over instead of an actual new TES for this exact reason here Nothing good will come from them making a new TES. Absolutely NOTHING good.
How expensive are voice actors? Bethesda is rich. I have no problem with a small selection of voice actors. I would prefer 10 great voice actors like Paul Eiding to 20 mediocre voice actors like some of the ones in Fallout 4. They should at least get black people to voice the black race.
>as arabians
>not as one of the most martially effective and technologically advanced nations in the Empire
Fuck man, Redguard set up so much good shit for them to use. I'd be pissed if they ust went lolarabs instead of rolling with the renaissance/west indies feel that they had before.
>replace the snow with sand
>charge $60 + day 1 DLC
I CAN'T WAIT
Fallout 3 had 5 full size dlcs if you count broken steel, new Vegas had 4 full size dlcs. There better be at least 2-3 more large dlcs coming for fallout 4, right?
I would hope not. I wonder if their DLC sales are worse for Fallout 4 because of the player backlash.
only like a third of skyrim was snow. it had a lot of good variety.
>They should at least get black people to voice the black race.
I enjoyed Fallout 3 if I'm honest but it was a bit of a shit show and it was an absolute loreical miscarriage, and despite all of its problems that still had black people voiced by black people.
It's like with each new Bethesda title they just find another fucking thing to do wrong. They'll probably end up having Khajiit voiced by generic white guys next.
Think about it, they could crowdsource that shit to the fans as a contest. Win a chance to voice an elder scrolls character! 99. 9% will be shit, but there will probably be a few fans who can do good work willingly for next to nothing.
>replace rocks with slightly different rocks
>look at skyrim in oblivion
>the tiny parts of southern skyrim you can actually see are coated in snow
>skyrim in skyrim
>majority of the map looks perfectly normal, snow only exists in the northern most parts
bethesda are you even trying
I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. Wasn't there a huge chunk of Fallout 3 that was basically just desert?
Gotta reuse them assets and engines man.
It will have one playable race:
>redguard
29 genders:
>none of which are male
Voiced main protagonist:
>which is a gay black man
No skills:
>only one meter that rates your progressiveness
No inventory:
>only allowed two weapons spots
most interesting places are made of rocks, dummy!
you say this, but if skyrim was totally snowy as per the lore, don't even pretend that you wouldn't endlessly bitch and moan about how it's all snow snow snow snow.
>Skyrim just became decent
Source? You got them combat, magic, and questing overhauls I've been so desperate for?
>tfw you hate every single Elder Scrolls and Fallout game but you'd buy an Elsweyr game day one
Tim Cain said Fallout 3 was good, they just reused too much of the story. It was foreshadowing what would come next. Fallout 4 is so unbelievably bad it's not even worth complaining about 3 or Skyrim. What an abortion.
Time for the re-launch of paid mods?
Why do you hate them? Let me into your mind. I enjoy them and put over 200 hours into Skyrim. I played Fallout 4 for 80 hours before giving up on it.
>if skyrim was true to the lore you would be annoyed because i said so
todd please go
>citation needed
I would if I didn't feel like it would be a wasted effort.
Can't be serious
Solsteim was no where near as big as Shivering Isles. The starting area of Shivering Isles is the main area for Dragonborn. Then you got to the main place...and it was bigger than even Markarth.
Point Lookout is Far Harbor. Far Harbor is tiny compared to Shivering Isles. Far Harbor is tiny compared to Point Lookout.
Oblivion was worse than Skyrim. A lot of the people saying it's better are playing it with so many mods that it doesn't represent the real game anymore. I've been playing Oblivion for the past few days and I've been very disappointing. I'm not saying that Skyrim is perfect, but there are so many small improvements they made. Oblivion is poo poo.
Yes. Check out tesgeneral.com it lists most of the good mods in its modding guide.
Skyrim is actually pretty nice now with mods. A new TES coming out will ruin it all and bring us right back to square one, with what is likely an even worse game too, going by what Fallout 4 turned out like.
How about you tell me why I should be excited? Skyrim was a massive disapointment and I completely skipped Fallout 4.
