Xillia 1 kind of suffered on the villian front. Gaius is a good king, he does what is right for his people. Jude thinks he might maybe have a chance to let everyone live in harmony and that makes Gaius the antagonist to his story, but he isn't a super-ideologically charged villain like most Tales final bosses.
It still bothers me just a little bit that the X1 crew advocates living in harmony between spirits and the two nations, but are running around with Spyrix cellphones a year later. It's best not to dwell on the plot of X2 too much.

so what happens if you keep at it and just keep dropping the ball. kill your first two very specific like and set a ritual up so youll get a bad ass name like the meat chopper, or the butcher of lurverne, but everything after that is just fuck up after fuck up where the victim just keeps getting away, till your called the "serial suckist" or something, never quite reaching the 3`s, forever scoring just 2 and a bunch of "you did your best" stickers

would just be me staring at Sup Forums like its actually interesting. anyways, dosent even seem to be a category for it. the serial killers list has a bunch of 1 or 2 proven victim counts but every single one seems to be suspects in more murders, adding up to 3 or more. spree killers list has 2 kills, but must be within a short time of each other. Rampage killers has the closest example i can see: william unek, who has 2 seperate incidents where it was 3 years apart, but he nailed 21 and 37 people, way more then 2. maybe you could get your own category and go for first name on the "attempted serial killers" list, but it would be fucking aggravating if they named it "failed serial killers".

Its also cool as fuck to note that Unek shows up on the spree killing highscore list....twice. 3rd and 13th place. how crazy is that. thats bragging rights right there
