I want to get a good gaming PC headset without spending too much money, is Logitech G230 the best choice? Anyone have experience with it?
Logitech G230
What exactly is a ""gaming"" headset? It's just a headset, how does it perform better in games?
Buy normal headphones and a cheap mic.
This desu senpai. Gaming headsets are really only needed if you play on consoles. You can do much better on PC.
What a fag
Its shit. Buy headphone instead.
>gaming
it means it's red and black. gullible idiots always fall for this.
>""""""gaming"""""" anything
Are you sitting on a "gaming" chair, shitposting on this very board with your ""gaming"" keyboard?
Yeah, of course.
Preferably good headphones and a nice mic. If you're going to bother talking to people, it helps if they can understand you.
Post good and cheap headphones
It's a shame they don't still sell the standard logitech desk mic I bought about 12 years ago, still going strong.
Sony MDR7506
I have the G430 and in about 6 months the left headphone has started to fail.
Buy normal headphones.
Sennheiser HD 449.
Should be at around $50.
I have the g430, it's the same headset just includes a usb soundcard.
It's a decent headset, comfortable, sound quality is good, mic works well. Don't listen to retarded autists ITT, you can't buy decent headphones and a separate mic for $40.
More like double that desu senpai
At least here in Spain it's at 50€
Warranty it. Logitech will give you a new headset.
How long should it take for them to give me back a new one.
Pic related are really good and pretty cheap too. Great sound and very comfy, although microphone is just mediocre. I generally don't buy "gaming" products since you usually just pay for the design instead of functionality, but these headphones are the one exception.
probably 2 weeks. One week to ship your old headset there, one week to ship a new one back. Logitech will pay for shipping both ways.
i like these. kingston hyperx cloud.
These are the only "gamer" headsets I've everr bought and they've lasted me a long time so far, are comfy, and quality is good enough.
Fuck off from my thread autistic retards, I don't want to buy a headphone + seperate microphone because:
1. It will be more expensive.
2. I don't want to look like an autistic mongrel with pinned microphone to my tanktop and it doesn't even have a quick mute mic feature.
3. Gaming headset is easier to use and more comfy.
Did some research, looks very good, might actually get this one now.
But it is cheaper, retard.
>pinned microphone to my tanktop and it doesn't even have a quick mute mic feature.
antlion modmic
Prove it, retard.
I have the G230.
You can take the ear cups off to clean. They are comfy for like few hours, then the top padding starts putting pressure on your head and it will hurt.
The mic quality is good. Cable is nice and long, which is also sleeved.
All in all, 7/10.
I had them. They weren't amazing but they worked. They eventually broke after the 100th time my dog tripped on the cord and tried to run outside to bark at the wind.
Seriously she would always find a way to get tangled in it, even if it meant jumping up into it.
This microphone costs as much as the headset, so you want me to spend 2x more money to get a headset going on? rofl.
You clip it to the headset wire, retard.
fucking degenerate kid, go back to >>www.reddit.com where you'll find all the cool kids with their glowing $300 plastic shits
bought these a couple of months ago. they are amazing. the build quality is extremely good, and they sound incredible. mic quality is a bit off, but i can live with it. also, the noise canceling is very very good.
Got any recommendations for cheaper headphones?
Nice third world inventions, I'll pass, retard.
I use an ATH M50 and my Note 4 as a mic.
Works good enough.
