don't know the game, but knowing game journalism
>what went right
most likely the bribe

Is this game on pc?

>Niche game even you don't know about from a controversial dev who make games with barely any money
>bribe

Shut your dumb mouth

>got the vita version for only 20 bucks
WEW

>Bribing for a remake of an already decent niche PS2 game that an idiot like you doesn't even know about.

MEmes.

Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita

...

>I was only pretending to be retarded.

Whatever floats your boat.

but the publisher is atlus which is owned by sega

weebs working at IGN is what happened

...

...

No it isn't retard

Kill yourself

Sega can't even stop reviewers from LEAKING an entire game to pirate sites several months before a game's actual release though

>Odin sphere higher than Memewatch
Holy fuck there is justice.

nuh-uh

atlus.com/osl/

low hanging fruit, mate

>Taking video game advice from people who can't video games

Gee if only there was a free demo everyone can download.

And how is that relevant to this thread?

>No more slideshow when fighting Skeletitties.

Now I just need to hope the new combat system makes those Wise Man fights less of a fucking pain in the ass.

So you can form an opinion about this game yourself. This user is right, you can't exactly trust review, even though we already know this game already

Based

Well, yeah, if they were to bribe for anything they would do it for their own games first.

So is she a spider with huge boobs or a big breasted woman with a huge spider?

Does this get repetitive like Muramasa or is it fun throughout? I greatly enjoyed the demo.

>The dark soul of persona
This isn't real, right?

A bit since most of the characters fight all the same bosses

Sadly, lots of normies that think SMT is a spinoff of Persona and not the other way around

>Vanilliaware having the money to bribe
Most of their games are amazing and normally sell like shit.

I'd say no, there's several characters with their own completely different moveset with their own upgrades as you progress. You fight the same enemies but that's about it

Judging from the demo, the combat is flashy enough to impress and easy enough that even game journalists can't lose

Beat-Em ups are a pretty niche market nowadays

>not on PC
WHO FUCKING CARES ABOUT THIS WEEBSHIT?

They fixed it afterwards but it's very real.

web.archive.org/web/20141201012217/http://www.gamezone.com/originals/9-games-that-are-the-dark-souls-of-their-genre

You play as 5 different heroes, i always give up by the 4th hero, so yes, it does get extremely repetetive. I never got bored with muramasa however even though, unlike odin sphere, both characters there play exactly the same

Really? That is a shame. I remember that the original got bad reviews because it was too hard.

>normally sell like shit
But why

I can understand them not being successful in the dudebro-dominated west, but do japs not buy them too?

Well it could get difficult in the main game. But the demo was so easy that you could basically faceroll everything, like they didn't change the enemies from the PS2 game to compensate for your faster movement/attacks.

Interesting, so weebshit know means "game I want but aren't on PC"

It sell okay in japan, but who cares about japan sales, nips have shit tastes and contrary to popular beliefs, aren't so fond of original IPs with such anime artstyle

If it's not on pc it shouldn't be classified as vidya

>SMT IV dark souls of persona
>Spelunky dark souls of rogueLIKE platformers

What the fuck?

>Videogames on dedicated videogame consoles aren't videogames if they don't run on excel machines

She's the queen of the dead, she can be whatever she wants to.

EVERYTHING

>dedicated videogame consoles
>not just physical drm that divides fanbases and runs for shit

>pc
>relevant

REMINDER THAT GWEN IS BEST GIRL

>Playstation is a DRM
>PC has 3 DRMs minimum at any given time

are you retarded?

>it's weebshit shiiling thread

>Saber rip-off

Gil is there too

>weebshit
>shilling
Fuck off with your buzzwords retard

>Near-perfect framerate

The fuck? It's a 2D game.

The original game chugged quite a bit during certain fights.

Who /waiting on Storybook edition/ here?

Is there anything different in this version from the original?

A lot.

So much changed that there's a 'classic mode' which is just the original game with HD assets.

nothing different
same weebshit

(you)

Combat has been completely overhauled.

LOL

Are you legitimately retarded?

ok

It's a 2d game with an enormous amount of layers upon layers of visual effects. Shit's gorgeous but I distinctly remember the queen of the dead and that big viking boss always running like shit and noticeably dropping frame rate.

>I love drm so much I bought an overpriced box to support it
>this is somehow the same as your games where devs can choose not to have drm at all

I want to touch Oswald's butt

Yes, a lot. 60fps, new moves, almost everything is new except for the story.

>Implying Steam isn't the most awful drm of all time and is required
>bitching this far to justify your work machine with no games

WHERE IS THE FUCKING PORN NO PORN NO BUY

>bought a vita for vanillaware games alone
God forgive me for all the time I'm about to waste.

they got a fag to do the review
Odin Sphere was a great game made barely ok by how repetitive it was

>10/10 game
>IGN needs to be special snowflakes and give it a 9.5
>people still take these fags seriously
They're kotaku tier

Don't you get tired of samefagging?

It was already a good game marred by bad framerates

Can't find it in the psn shop.

Tomorrow

>Vanillaware threads are almost always shitflinging and console war garbage
They're too good for this world.

Is it still boring garbage?

Look like shit.

We cuhrayzee now

What's wrong user? Need more open world immersive cinematic QTEs?

Probably because you don't have to play the game 5 times before getting anywhere.
