You never get summoned because nobody in the US is playing. It's all european players, and it uses the steam download location to find other players. Set your download location to houston and use PVP watchdog.

In the most literal sense possible they didn't even know CE existed much less what it did.

I used CE to give myself 24 titanite slabs, and I haven't been banned after three weeks. The only reason they left out an enemy that drops slabs is so they could get more people to buy the DLC.

You only get massive invasions on early SLs or around exactly that meta.

That's... kind of what I did. I went offline to add the slabs, just in case.
I don't think they monitor your inventory much. I think they just look for impossible weapon and character stats. Maybe having a very large number of souls or very high level.

I know that DS2 was really touchy about changes in soul memory--so much that if you backed up a character and reloaded them later, they'd see that your soul memory changed and your account would be flagged.

BTW, that reminds me of another thing they could have done to fix the hacking. In the save file, a weapon's stats shouldn't be saved "on the weapon." If they just saved the weapon's ID and its modifications, the stats could be looked up and retrieved from a table based on those, then loaded into memory. This way, it'd be impossible to give a person a hacked weapon that would get them banned. Each weapon could only have stats that are in that table, based on its ID, infusion, and reinforcement level.

They allow you to invade a person with a minimum of your soul level minus 10%, with no upper bound.

In other words, a SL60 character should, with a red eye orb, be able to invade between levels 54-720 (whatever the max level is).

Strange, I got invaded a few times in the Painted World around level 60 a few week ago.

I usually try it in Undead Burg and Oolacile, since they're usually the biggest duel PvP areas.

It's all about the shitty server and how it connects you.

With the community tools you can see which nodes you get. With bad luck you only get hollows who never turn human and so you will never interact with any of them.
