I will finally kill myself
has there been any news at all about what Sonic games are going to happen for this anniversary?
let him die in peace
CWC will throw a lesbian sleepover and I got invited.
As long as I tuck my dick in like he does I'll be fine.
The same way Sega's celebrating it: By not giving a fuck.
Not until Sonic Retro makes Sonic 5 and ends the franchise on a high note
see disneys wreck it ralph 2: bubsy's breakout
>Sonic Retro
u wot m8
>what is google
>Sonic Then
>Pictures of 3 different games
>Sonic Now
>Picutres of 1 game
Four different games actually
I know what Sonic Retro is, do YOU know what Sonic Retro is? Did you mean Taxman?
If SEGA doesn't seem to be celebrating anything, then why should I?
I'll celebrate it with Sonic Adventure 3, which will release this year
>four excellent games across four years
>one alright game across four years
Boom doesn't count, or else "Now" would look at ton worse than it already does. Generations is nearly 5 years old.
Run fast.
Are those screenshots on the right from a good and stable Sonic game?
When will those fucks at SEGA remaster Skies of Arcadia??
If you're aware of what Sonic Retro is, then what was confusing about the original statement? Retro had a classic-based project in development when Sonic 4 was announced which ended up getting dumped because of people losing interest. Obviously that user wants Retro to put out another fangame.
>they make Generations 2
>you can pick 9 new classic Zones
What do you pick? I pick:
>Marble
>Labyrinth
>Scrap Brain
>Emerald Hill
>Aquatic Ruin
>Mystic Cave
>Metropolis
>Ice Cap
>Mushroom Hill
>Sandopolis
>Lava Reef
Catching up with the comic, probably. Love me some Eggman.
How about some new, creative environments instead of constant retreads?
Sorry user, you have to go through green hill zone again
I don't think Generations 2 is necessary.
But I would want to see Marble, Star Light, Mystic Cave, Hydrocity, Ice Cap, Flying Battery and Lava Reef in it.
That would be cool too. But if they were retreading again, what would you want them to retread?
You have good taste.
OK, hear me out for a second... Sonic Generations came out in 2011, right? Name one thing Sonic did worth celebrating in the last 5 years.
This thread smells of shill. Who would honestly make an image celebrating Lost World?
Sega should commish animated version of some of the comic arcs, like how DC does.
I won't.
>Who would honestly make an image celebrating Lost World?
That image is supposed to be mocking Lost World and its "simplified" art style.
God fucking damn Gens was so bad.
I'd like it to be a finished game rather than an hour long game padded with filler challenges.
Sonic was never good
That's one way of looking at it. Very Rorschach test.
The Sonic Retro community. Taxman and Stealth included.
Sonic Generations was a full Sonic game though.
>That's one way of looking at it.
No, that IS the way to look at it. It's a bait image you dope.
Another user who can't seem to answer a simple question, I see.
fuk ur question feg
By playing Rayman Legends.
>Starlight
>Labyrinth
>Aquatic Ruin
>Marble Garden
>Mushroom Hill
>Ice Cap
>Sandopolis
>Quartz Quadrant
>Metallic Madness
I don't believe that. No one would make bait that shitty.
They really should.
You need to lurk more then.
By replaying Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.
>Sonic then
>4 games
>Sonic now
>1 game
I don't know, man. How do you know OP's image is bait meant to make new Sonic appear bland? Do you know the OP?
...
>Haha it's a classic 2D stage in 3D with modern rock music, thats so zainy xd
Why just classic?
>Star Light
>Casino Night
>Launch Base
>Lava Reef
>Quartz Quadrant
>Rusty Ruin
>Toxic Cave
>Botanic Base
>Sunset Park
>Sonic now
>Only Lost World
Yeah, never mind Unleashed, Colors and Generations...
>5 to 8 years ago
>now
Play a good Sonic ga-- oh wait.
Yes, that's accurate.
>then
>Sonic games pumped out quickly, most are great
>now
>Sonic games barely come out, most suck
user, those games are all pretty old.
Is this Rectify?
>hey guys, pick 9 classic zones!
>picks 11 classic zones
what
Play a bad Sonic ga-- oh wait.
Play an average Sonic ga-- oh wait.
Play a great Sonic ga-- oh wait.
fuck, my bad
pick 11 then
You've been saying that for the last 4 years
Play the best Sonic game.
Why does everyone think that sa3 the next game? Was there something I missed?
Now would be the perfect time for SEGA to play the fan pandering card.
Actual fans know Adventure is garbage though.
Im going to see how many games I can beat in one day. SA1 and 2 are shorter so thats doable. Heroes with team sonic can also be done. Sonic 06 will take longer just out of boredom in lengthy loading screens. Unleashed is the one that would probably take the longest but then again probably not since I've speedran every last stage in the game and can get almost all medals easily. And Colors and Generations suck ass and can be beaten in like 3 hours or some shit, shovelware games.
Wish me luck Sup Forums
By hopefully playing a new Sonic game that isn't garbage.
>Liked Heroes, Unleashed, and Colors
my man
Hope that we get a Sonic Generations again
man it was so good
Since we're talking about Sonic anyways, can we just agree this guy was fucking hell to beat
By fapping to Amy rose
I won't since I think sonic is the shittest platformer series that only autistic neet manchildren who are edgy like
It's only hard if you have no rings in the last phase.
Nothing else is challenging or nerve-racking.
doing nothing. sonic was fun when i was 9. now im older and realized all of his games are shit.
>Colors and Generations suck ass
it was the opposite for me. i thought sonic was shit when i was a kid but liked it more when i got older. sonic did not start out well at all.
Sonic games always sucked, I never had sage. The controllers were cool from the time I got to test them, but I bet teh gfx r pretty bad. My console was n64, so not much sanic fo me
You'll all have to share this (You).
Sorry guys.
this. Same with all nintendo games
I'm sorry my legitemate opinion bothers you so much.
When you're floating towards it with the balls orbiting around it, I found it tough to judge depth with the camera angle, so I'd hit the balls on accident and die.
yep, autism confirmed
A gun and some bourbon.
>Chemical Plant
>Mystic cave
>Metropolis
>Hydrocity
>Launch base
>Flying battery
>Death egg
>Quartz quadrant
>Stardust speedway
Chemical Plant is in Sonic Generations, user
Sometimes I get the impression I'm the only person that liked Lost World.
My bad. Replace it with lava reef then
...
are you me?
I bought a PS3 just for Generations
I'll buy a PS4 for the next one if its as good
I liked it for a reason.
I don't hate it but it is such a let down from Colors and Generations imo. It has very little to do with physics and momentum.
>owned a SNES and thought Sonic was shit as a kid
>grew up and decided to try out some Genesis games on an emulator
>tried Sonic again as an adult and ended up enjoying it
Well, looks like I don't fit into any of the stereotypes presented in this thread so far.
Goddamn, how did they make Final Rush, a level that's almost entirely on rails over bottomless pits, be so fun and have so many branching paths?
I don't understand.
I think it definitely gets more hate than it deserves. It has some cool concepts and a sequel that irons out the issues and has better level design could be amazing.
>it could be good if it were good
What cool concepts?
The only thing I can think of is the parkour, and you'd have to change it so dramatically for it to be any good that I don't see any sense in giving Lost World credit for it, essentially just for it being an idea that sounds good on paper.
>sonic then
>run in straight lines, jump sometimes
>sonic now
>run in straight lines, jump sometimes
staying true to its roots
congratulations
>Sonic Retro
No.
Sonic sucks.
youtube.com
dude I went to sonic yesterday and it was great, fuck off
