Because MvC2 is a budgeted mess. It effectively takes every character from all of Capcoms other fighting games and just sticks them in with little edits. Its more of a compilation than its own game.

funny thing about spidey is that he always looks kinda awkward when he has a normal posture.

he's always being seen doing something acrobatic and dexterous. The pose fits him extremely well, regardless of the fact it was likely inspired by the jap spidey live action shows.

How was the content in MVC3 shit or mediocre? The only clone character was Akuma and all the characters had full move lists, were viable (except Hsienko) and there was tons of interactions, endings, costumes, and content.

I can't deny that 3 is more professionally-made, but I still have more fun with 2

Character's animations took a dive too. Compare the Sentinel animations from Children of the Atom to MvC2.

Also, the best titles in the Vs. series are MvC1 and TvC.

I feel MvC3 could have been great if more effort was put into it and if Niitsuma wasn't a lying piece of shit. MvC3 SHOULD feel like an evolution of what TvC did, but instead just sorta lingers because you have fucking stills for endings, a Capcom fighter without either mascot, lies about roster, also HOLY SHIT THAT HORRIBLE ART OUTSIDE OF SHINKIRO'S WORK.

I can and will forgive TvC UAS for using stills however, as the original TvC did have animated endings from Tatsunoko, but licensing got in the same, same with themes.
